When it comes to K-State basketball, my optimism is a crutch and a fault. So stupid.
-
Pitiful. Are we getting out coached?
-
1) 11 TOs from our starting guards
2) our 2 SRs shoot 3-8 FTs when it counted, had lapses in defenses when it counted, and those 2 are the ones that gave up both ORs on the FT misses at end of regulation.
3) Another slow crappy start. 6 TOs, 7 points, and down by 10.
4) Great effort Sneed. At least you give a damn.
-
58.8% ouch, lost the lottery again. K-State basketball has similar lottery luck to black people playing Powerball.
-
This team has no concept of being successful at the basic fundamentals of basketball to help win games. Our rebounding and defense is atrocious. We have to shoot lights out to have a chance at a W.
-
With this team's current defense, losing out is a distinct possibility.
Maybe 2 more wins max?

If we finish like that we'll still be in the tournament fairly comfortably.
-
TCU had over 20 turnovers

Maybe, I bet we don't get in at 8-10 without another win against the Big 3. I don't know how comfortable 9-9 is with a collection of the shittiest wins you've ever seen (+WVU)

those predictos were made before tonights crap show. Bad losses like these have a funny way of replicating I'm afraid....
-
Tcu scored 24 pts the last 13 Possessions of the 2nd half. We fouled them 4 times on shots (they went 2-4 FT). Defensive rebounds were an issue.
Our first 4 Possessions of OT, were 2 Kam TOs and 1-4 FTs.

That would be 5 top 50 wins

48.3% last 8 B12 games.... What our Opp are shooting from 3pt. 9 makes per game.
Tcu was making 29% in league play.
-
Sometimes you play the lottery, sometimes the lottery plays you, PP.
-
I have really not enjoyed watching any KSU games with the exception of WVU and KU. Thank you, oscar, for giving me my Saturdays back. I'll be back for the Big 12 tourney. :emawkid:

So Tcu had 14 ORs. They got these on 10 Poss (2 OR 4 times on a Poss)
They got Pts on 9 of the 10 Poss. 17 Pts.
We also had 2 dead ball fouls where we committed a Foul on the Rebound after a miss shot.
They went to the line, converted those 2 into 4-4 FTs.
So, they got 21 2nd chance pts on those 12 Poss. Only 1x out of 12 did they not score a point when given a 2nd opportunity. That's a good way to help lose a BB game. Tennessee racked up 23 2nd chance Pts on us.

Wes is the only starter we have that isn't ugly.
