It was pretty clear that if you bucked the Obama administration you ended up defrocked at minimum and possibly in prison.

Good to see dissent merely stifled and not jailed.

The military one, japanese internment one, and DOD one don't strike me (or any non-trump obsessed person) as anti-trump.

One point each for the creation of the accounts. No points for individual tweets on these accounts.

Rationale:

Final ruling: All tweets confirmed to be anti-Trump

The military one, japanese internment one, and DOD one don't strike me (or any non-trump obsessed person) as anti-trump.

Rationale:

  • DOD refugee soldier was tweeted on same day as executive order regarding refugees
  • Japanese internment was tweeted on same day as executive orders regarding border wall and refugees
  • DOD social media mental health was tweeted morning of Trump administration first full business day

Final ruling: All tweets confirmed to be anti-Trump

Not really rationale, but it's your show. If you're going to count every twitter account that has an agency name, you might as well count those.

Carry on,

I also enjoy this thread. I like to imagine the rats making angry little squeaking sounds as they furiously tweet away. It's gonna get that much better when the political appointees start shutting down offices and projects.

Yes let's just shut down everything we don't like. Trumpertantrum. At least you're honest about wanting to destroy America from within

I guess the difference is I don't see it as "destroying America." Talk about having a tantrum. I have a hunch life will continue on much as it did before, but maybe we'll save some money.

I do recall having some pretty legendary posts on that topic. I think it was mainly about the how the government was going out of its way to shut down things like outdoor monuments and scenic views just to make a point during their tantrum. These tweets are a related precursor to that. Butthurt liberals angry that their low-stress but low-necessity jobs are at risk.

Quote
Environmental Protection Agency employees have not accepted Donald Trump’s victory and are still “coming to work in tears” more than two months after the election.

“At EPA headquarters, the mood remains dark,” ProPublica reported Wednesday. “A longtime career communications employee said in a phone interview Tuesday that more than a few friends were ‘coming to work in tears’ each morning as they grappled with balancing the practical need to keep their jobs with their concerns for the issues they work on.”

Trump’s victory has been tough for bureaucrats. The State Department held stress workshops after the election so they would not “become paralyzed by fear.” EPA employees were caught crying before, just after the election, as were White House aides. Energy Department employees were granted counseling. Sobbing staffers greeted Hillary Clinton on Capitol Hill a month after her loss.

EPA employees are upset that the new president will take a different approach than the Obama administration. ProPublica called Trump’s nomination of Scott Pruitt, the Oklahoma attorney general who has sued the EPA over its climate change regulations, to lead the agency “dramatic.”

The Trump administration froze all EPA grants and contracts to make sure new grants are in line with the new administration’s objectives. They also asked for the schedule of all planned meetings and presentations by the agency through mid-February.

Doug Ericksen, the EPA’s communications director for the transition, told National Public Radio that “we’ll take a look at what’s happening so that the voice coming from the EPA is one that’s going to reflect the new administration.”

Employees are also scared that the climate change part of the EPA’s website will be removed.
