5. Kansas: The Big 12 should once again be very good at the top next season. And even after losing three of its top four scorers, Kansas might be the best of the bunch. The Jayhawks return five key players from a 33-victory team that dominated the league, plus have some returning talent that couldn't break into the rotation last season. And then there's the addition of freshman stud Josh Selby to the mix.
6. Kansas State: If the Jayhawks stumble, the boys from Manhattan will be poised to overtake them. K-State lost high-energy guard Denis Clemente, but return backcourt mate Jacob Pullen plus a very athletic frontcourt. And Frank Martin will again be working the sideline -- which is a good thing for the Wildcats, if they can handle his liquefying death stare.
Hey, K-State, how does that ass taste?
:ksu:

-
Pat Forde
-
Surprised you could find one. Congrats.
-
What's Joe Pa's take?
-
It's really gotta hurt that after losing Collins, Aldrich, and Henry, KU is still expected to be top five and win the Big 12.

I know you're fishing, but you're better than this.
-
Andy Katz is a Pat Forde wannabe. There, I said it.
-
Because one guy has KU as the highest Big 12 school.
K-State is top 5 in most of the early rankings that i have seen.
Baylor and Ku are in the talks for who the 2nd best team is. Udoh bolting leaves some doubt in my mind whether BU will live up to a top 10 team
And Mizzou is the 4th best team. Despite being ranked in the top 15 by a few early polls, i still think they will not finish in the top 3 in the conf.
-
trust BMWJhawk. Forde is an objective source while Quatz is obviously biased. look at their names !!!!!!!!

:ksu:
From what I hear, some have to pay for that taste. It is good that we just got it for free.

Alright, and this idiot put Purdue ahead of Duke. He lost all credibility after reading the very first word he wrote.

yeah, there was a comment on that in the twitter thread. seemed like someone was upset about his gf, wife or whore was selling tastes of her ass? dunno, it was a little confusing. feel like i only got one side of the story.

Agreed. Need a follow up expose.
Wonder if Meek could/would dig into this?
-
so just made my way over to phog.net....since when did Clemente become the best player kstate ever had??? good god, it's almost hilarious the 180 they pull.

Soon, Denis won't do well in, or get drafted to, the NBA. Then they will all be saying how he has always been such a crap player.

They are not handling the fact that KSU has left them in the dust very well.
-
MU guy
who? Forde?
-
Congratulations, Beems. You finally found someone who has KU ranked ahead of K-State. We're all proud of you.
-
Pat Forde
Forde = MU Tiger grad, meaning he's intrinsically worthless. In fact, I heard that some Antiques Roadshow dude showed up at Forde's birth and was like "THIS SPECIMEN IS WORTH ONE DOLLAR"
-
Ben- can you show us one more poll with KU ahead of us? Or are you content on hanging you banner based on this?
-
MU guy
who? Forde?
yeah, but the MU fans i know don't like him.
-
I won't comment until Phil Steele gives his predicty.
-

weird thread.
-
Anyone know when the banner will be put up?

The sale of ass tastes was not the problem. It was her running her mouth (not the same mouth that tasted the ass) afterwards that caused the drama.

1. Michigan State. Even without PG Kalin Lucas, the Spartans were within a single 3-pointer of the title game. He'll be back, and freshman C Adreian Payne could provide shot-blocking.
2. Duke. Circle Wednesday, Dec. 1: Our No. 1 Spartans visit most everyone else's No. 1 Blue Devils.
3. Purdue. A healthy Robbie Hummel would have helped Purdue pursue the 2010 title. Can he stay in one piece this time?
4. Kansas. The Morris twins and Tyshawn Taylor are still around.
5. Ohio State. The Buckeyes might need to be creative (again) at point guard, but finding a solution could make them champs. If William Buford improves his decision-making, he has the skills.
6. Kansas State. If there's a point guard, this team is a title threat. Jacob Pullen probably will want the first shot, and may be the best choice, but he was very good playing with a score-first mentality.
Mike DeCourcey = best in the biz
-
4. Kansas. The Morris twins and Tyshawn Taylor are still around.
lmao. point plankin' is his reasoning?

Also, smart move by DeCourcey to just go with "the Morris twins" rather than specifying who's who or what they're good at. It can be very confusing.
-
Somebody more motivated and less drunk than I should average out the rankings that have been released for each team. I'd bet that KU's is in the 9-10 range and K-State's is in the 4.5-5.5 range.

statutory rape / shooting people. which is which ???
-
Tyshawn Taylor is horrible. He's just not good at all.
-
Out of Taylor and the Morris Twins, Marcus Morris is the only one that is worth a sh*t.

Tyshawn Taylor is horrible. He's just not good at all.
Tyshawn Taylor is better than any guard on K-State's roster, with the exception of Jake Pullen.

If he can stay our of trouble, you are probably right.

So he's not right at all?

Kansas had to land a marquee player in the spring to maintain relevance at the national level and it did just that.
the most  IMHO. You land one of the top players in the country and you are now "relevant".
-
The fact that this thread was started on this board, by this poster, is a more telling sign than any of those polls. It's over, we win.
-
How the hell does Sportingnews have Michigan State at #1? Please throw out that poll... Michigan State still has Lucas, but lost a team leader in Raymar Morgan. Purdue has no Chris Kramer, and Duke has no Jon Scheyer. However, don't underestimate how much KSU will miss Denis Clemente though either...
KU will have 2-3 dumb losses early in non-conference because of inexperience, but will then battle Baylor, KSU and Missouri for the Big 12 Title.
