serious question, is there a more overrated mathematician/physicist ever?
let's focus on his laws of motion for a moment.
his first law of motion: an object in motion stays in motion/object at rest stays at rest.
no crap sherlock. who didn't know this? christina aguilera? lol great job figuring that one out genius. also great job copying & pasting kepler :flush:
his second law of motion: f=ma
another no crap sherlock. was he even trying?
his third law of motion: not worth discussing.
anyway. it's insane how much play this clown gets when there is far more better science out there.

robert hooke should've kicked his punk ass iyam
-
Those "laws" aren't even true
-
we should dig him up and infringe the crap out of his burial site (which he probably just stole from someone else)
-
An object buried will stay buried :jerk:
-
i bet he didn't even exist. he's like an old wives tale. but historic.
if he applied for a job at cern or mit he wouldn't get past the screening interview. seriously.
-
Not a fan.

Uh what about cooling? Don't tell me you could look at a cup of coffee like my man Newt and figure out when its cool enough to drink

law of cooling?
how did he come up with that one, did he go out in the winter? gmafb
his legend grows because he's not around any more

The foundation of classical physics was practically laid by Newton. There are plenty of other very brilliant individuals over time that he worked with and also built off his work, including fairly independently but nonetheless reinforced Leibniz with calculus. Optics is honestly something don't talk about Newton enough about. His laws of motion are still true, and it's a gross simplification by anti-newton dumbass 'clams. The fact that Newtonian physics is still standard issue teachings through early college cause it's still true for all non-relativistic cases which calls more insane amounts of idk, calculus :cough cough: proves his legacy and lasting work. He's properly rated.

never would have guessed that you're on the pocket of big newton

Newtownites make me laugh in a way that makes me feel sorry for them
Sad

Fig newtons are gross but also i would not turn one down if someone offered me one and I had a glass of milk nearby. What gives?
-
I would not accept the newton or the milk

The cookie(?) part of Fig Newtons is dry AF.
