Title: Pregame thoughts and hopes about the Slu-ers.
Post by: renocat on December 03, 2016, 11:05:54 AM
I hope SLUmers play us hard, but we win big.  I hope the game can jump start Claws, Deathbite, and Bullnuts. I expect a good game from DJamer and Xtasy.  Westicles and Flush, yeah.  We need the next games developing quality and 9 and 10 spots in the rotation.  We have to get quality minutes from Swampthing and xWhomper.

This should happen, but I've developed Asbury/Wooly level exceptions for road games after the last 3 years.

slu is the worst team in the a-10, so yeah, probs a 5-10 pt win instead of the total beatdown a good team would give them.

I think we are slowly going to make progress on road game victories this next year or two.

Me too. If he can even go 3-6 in the league on the road this team is going to the tournament.

That paired with 7-2 at home should do it.

Cows on big 10 network.  I think there's a big 10 app too.

This game has gone just about as well as it could have. DJamer getting a good game in his homecoming to StL, dominance over an inferior opponent on the road, confidence builder for the team.

I agree. 30 point road wins are always nice.

Keep blowing out the crappy teams, beat UT at home at the end of the month and let's see what can happen.

Team looks better tonight than they have in almost two years. I still think our offense will really struggle once we start playing teams with real athletes. This game was almost enjoyable for me though, that hasn't happened in a really long time. Maybe it's just the Christmas spirit in the air.

You should be able to get it using any of the logins you use to get espn3.

It did feature SLU-biased announcers. I kind of enjoyed it.
