think Paul Roades over #1 Ostate in 2011. He did nothing for four years after that and they kept him coming back.....

the difference between the two though is that ISU has a very very long leash for coaches and are historically bad.
KU on the other hand has a very short leash for coaches and has a long and storied season to look back on.

prior to gill, ku had never had an african american head coach in any sport
