Multiple Booze Parties Line goes here

Scott Frost has UCF at 4-4 after they went 0-12 last year :dunno:

Jerry Kill. Think of the BBS'n that can be accomplished because of all the possible puns and word play/phonetic mix-ups.

I was way ahead of you and already had him in the trash pile

I can't believe it, but Briles has become to much of a criminal, I am intentionally not nominating him for the list. Is this the beginning of my slow turn to tuck?
-
Charlie Strong.
-

this list is based on one thing only: winning football games. also having fun doing it kinda I guess.
-
I can't believe it, but Briles has become to much of a criminal, I am intentionally not nominating him for the list. Is this the beginning of my slow turn to tuck?
He's impossible to hire at this point.

the forbidden fruit. so delicious.

Mack Brown, only 3 years older than Les!
-
Bob Davie feels like a Currie hire.
-
Scott Frost has UCF at 4-4 after they went 0-12 last year :dunno:
And Oregon is going downhill without him. I do like this nomination. :excited:
-
Bryan Harsin
Dave Doeren
too under the radar and sucky
-
Ed Orgeron

Is there an order in the trash pile? Is Kill below Rhoads?
Whoever is the top assistant at Iowa should probably be on the list because tucks.

No, I'm intentionally leaving off Philip Montgomery because I'm afraid he'd throw a life boat to known shitbag Kendall Briles.
-
How much time does Gary Pinkle have left? :dunno:

Dave Aranda, LSU defensive cordinator

Ignore Doeren. Harsin is viable and would be a solid hire.

no, not ordered within their respective groupings. jerry kill can be assumed to be last place tho.

ignoring his ignoring of the all the raping it would be fantastic to see the tuck/ge war over his flat bill and finger taping

LHC Bill Snyder
i was thinking how weird it would be if he retired (again) but this time resurfaced to coach at another college :Ugh:
-
Fleck and it's not even close.
He is like an upgraded version of that scrub at Texas Tech. Except he wins games.
-
Herm Edwards
Man, that's great! Listened to Fitz on some 810 show hinting around via questions that he'd like Herm to coach at K-State. Whoever was doing the interview made it pretty plain that Herm ain't going back to coaching, much less K-State.

They ask herm all the time on 810 and he's always like "thanks, but no thanks". He likes his job as it is now. Cushy million talking sports. Would take.
-
And it's Keitz who always asked the question too. He does that HS UA all star game every year with top HS talen down in Florida. The kids love him, so everyone thinks it would be an easy transition.
-
Chip Kelly :crossfingers:
-
Dave Doeren
He will be mentioned with bigger jobs like LSU, maybe he'll be better with more resources. His current job is very similar to ours and he's been meh at best.

Interesting. I listen to a few podcast, so I can't remember who said this. However, they thought there was a decent chance he might get fired from NC State. He buyout is well south of $1mm. I thought of him because he might want to get out before getting fired next year.
-
Has Matt Rhule been ruled on yet?
I'd bet a mini fortune that the coach is coming out of this list; Rhule, Bohl, Fleck, Frost, Brohm, and Scott Satterfield

He just said no, and explained why (in the other thread I think?) -- JC will hire only previous HC experience.
-
He's made like what, 3 hires? We're dead set now that he won't hire a former K-state coordinator?

Yeah I see now that he's on the hot seat. I posted an article the day Les was fired and DD was one of the candidates.

I think BV is not eliminated as a candidate but I am slightly concerned about some signs that whatever is going on with he and K-State hasn't been resolved yet.

As Ace of Base once sang, I saw the sign.

Sorry, SD, despite your strong opinion, I still want Jim Leavitt. Should be above the line.

Matt Wells really should have gotten out of Utah State before he lost Todd Orlando to Houston/Tom Herman.

Peyton Manning. Judging by his Direct TV commercials, he doesn't have anything else to do.

Let's do this

Yeah, his peak was probably two seasons ago; I haven't heard him mentioned for an opening at all this year.
Two completely unrelated carousel notes; Les said he's got ten years left in him and he wants to coach, guess that College Gameday thing won't happen. Also, I've read two different articles today listing Holgo with the LSU candidates.

Speculation that Butch Jones will be out at Tennessee at the end of the year, and Les Miles would be hired there.

come home Les

How is Charlie Strong not in that top line with Miles and some of those others? We would be blessed for Texas to fire Strong, Currie and KSU have the stones to hire him, and him to want to accept this job.
-
sorry bros but i just don't like les "pud" miles. but i do have a name that hasn't been mentioned yet- scott stapp

Mods, why do we let idiots post and ruin a perfectly fine thread.

Because Strong has done so well at Texas. Just imagine what he could do at Kstate! :'bye cruel world: :'bye cruel world: :flush: :jerk:
-
i'd be p jazzed about scott frost. still not exactly a proven commodity, but p jazzed nonetheless.
-
Leavitt basically has rough ridin' CU in the top 20 all by himself.

How did he do at Louisville? I don't remember but I'm sure it was terrible
-
Charlie took failed Big12 assistants to Louisville and did well because he recruited superior talent and an amazing QB. He made a mistake by bringing the previously failure coordinators back to the Big12 with him. Loyalty killed him. If he can get better coordinators, he'd be great. If he got another Bedford/Watson type combo I'd pass. However, I'm 90% sure he wouldn't hire Big12 retreads, but I also don't have a clue who he'd get. His two new OCs aren't coming with him.

but you would :flush: over CB?

The love fest between Frost and Phil Knight gets me halfway there. The possibility of him being a p good coach gets me all the way there.
I'm definitely pro Frost.

He would get better talent than we currently have and he would be just fine here. Our job is easier than Texas. Just imagine how terribly LHC Bill Snyder would do at a program like Texas.

He wouldn't make it 4 seasons. He would be fired for these last 2 years alone. Texas actually expects their coaches to win national championships. Their program has done that once over the last 40 years.

My concern would be that some of our boosters would want him to do the same stepin fetchit song and dance routine that the boosters at UT want him to do. He needs to be where he will be allowed to just coach and recruit and not play golf with people who otherwise wouldn't invite him in their house. Charlie at the nut fry would be a disaster.

Maybe. I think every division 1 coach has to appease boosters to some extent, though. I really doubt K-State would demand even close to as much time away from actual coaching as Texas does.
-
Jesus people, if a coach can't succeed at UT, he isn't going to succeed at K-State.

This is why he gets over 5 mil a year. What do you think Sabin and Harbaugh do for their salary.

Don't get the JL hate. He's not at the top of my list but I'm realistic. I think he would be fine here. Plus he's pals with Jim Harbaugh. Maybe they would be satellite camp bros and we could a few kids that Harbaugh doesn't want. :ksu:

Colorado's defense is having an amazing year. Top 15 nationally in total defense, scoring, YPP allowed, and takeaways.

Started the program, went 126 - 79 (.614). Declined after he left. Leavitt has good recruiting ties to Florida. Would take.
