I would love if our team was absolutely shockingly awesome and the cam never went to oscar.  I could live the rest of my life with that combo.

I'm pretty excited to see Wes's new J, Kamau's new ACL, the two Freshman SG/SF guys, and whatever brick shithouse center we bring off the bench.

I am interested in how Deathbite and Dogbite play.  We won't do much if we have lousy guards.  The florida Swampthing maybe an x factor.  I hope to see xWhomper play.

Hopefully the Pitt State Gorillas can put a scare into the Cats tonight. Entering my first season actively rooting against the Cats, and it feels liberating.

Exactly. How many teams do you think could beat Pitt St. w/o their best player at home by DOUBLE digits? I bet not many. NCAAs here we come  :driving:

Defense and rebounding was atrocious.

Officiating was, at best, arbitrary and capricious. I can't believe they continue to trot these hacks out there.

Playing the last 15 minutes without our 4 best players was annoying as eff.

It looks like we have a bunch of good shooters.  Sneed looks awesome, and Maurice looks really solid. Good additions. Wade was the tits shooting, and Wes's new J is lovely. Kamau and Brown look improved.

Should be a good time, assuming the defense and rebounding picks up.

Claws and The Flush probably aren't good, you guys. I mean they hit some open jumpers tonight. 1) They won't be shooting wide open jumpers much this year 2) They couldn't make it past the Pitt St defenders, so they won't get by anybody else on our schedule either. I just don't want you guys to be sad when it turns out they're average D-1 players.

I just got home from the game.  Some thoughts.  Claws was awesome offensively, but I was impressed by his defense and movement.  Bullnuts is going to be a valuable sub;'big bastards hitting 3 will give other Big12 coaches a panty rash. Sneed, Mr. GRAVY is.what I told you all he would be.  The Bites will be a good rotation if they stay healthy.  Scary Dogbite went down. DJamer!! The Flush played a lot minutes and still was going strong near end.  The Wackamos xWhomper and Meatsaw are going to block a lot of shots.  Love is going to dislocate some dude shoulder.  My worry was for the florida Swampthing, too many fouls.  Hot Horndog is a grunt again.

I recorded the game because I was out while most of it was played.  So far have only watched the first half.  Looked decent enough for an exhibition game.  Will watch the second half later today.  Will I be disappointed?

The feed was awful, but it got better after the first five minutes or so.  It kept freezing.

It was an exhibition game, so I don't put much stock in any performances, but I liked Sneed's ability to shoot.

If we run

DJamer
Wade
Wes
Brown
Stokes

with the X-factor coming off the bench, that is pretty fun.  I would love to see us spread the floor when we sit DJamer and have Xavier in there and run dribble drive and dish.  Plus 1-4 could switch really effectively on D.

Potentially 6 conference games against press style defenses, any hot takes on that?

I don't think that will be a huge problem, but we will be very reliant on Stokes and Ervin is still a problem.  As long as both Wes and Stokes aren't out of the game, it should be fine, but we don't have any pg depth that I would trust.  Then again, our 2-4 can handle the ball and pass better than most teams and DJamer runs the floor really well at the 5.

We will see, I guess.  I don't think turnovers were the problem with the team last year.

Was pretty underwhelmed by the game tonight. Sneed looks like a potential beat though. Possibly the next Foster...so he'll be transferring to a better program after next year.

Also, oscar just used the term "sticky fingers"
