Title: Do we win out?
Post by: GregKSU1027 on October 23, 2016, 12:59:10 AM
Today was solid performance other than that we defense not stopping the ball and counting our blessings while keeping it close at home.  I say we win every game and Baylor is gonna be way too close for comfort.

Nope, we won't, but if we do, I would be super duper happy.

I think the defense is good. Playmakers at almost every position. They kept "answering the bell."

Apart from losing by 20 to Baylor, we just might win out.

Depends on how serviceable you think Hubes is

I think the real question at this point is: can we win on the road with Hubes?

we need to just go full on single wing with delton and let our defense do most of the winning

8 wins is a pretty good season but frustrating to know if we had not played Stanford in the non con and not crap away the wvu game it could have been a 10 win season

Yeah it's frustrating, if we only played fcs teams we might be undefeated.  We really should stop scheduling teams that can beat us.  So unfair.

id say a bad call away from being 5-1 and their only loss is to a top ten team by 7 a decent team. maybe thats just me

There's a decent chance they lose out. They lost to CMU and were a bad call from losing to isu.

This would be the worst 10 win team in K-State, possibly conference history. Let's be real here, all of us are very nervous about losing to a 1-6 team. In no circumstance is this a 10 win team.

ISU's defense is Tech/KU level bad.

move the ball at will the first two drives and then throw 3 straight is good play calling now? Its the same crap every week. Second half was better but why fix it of it isnt broken?

I won't disagree with the overthinking drive, but it was just one bad series this week. The turnovers are the only thing that prevented a 30+ point performance and blowout win.

I don't think that's true. The UT game notwithstanding, they have been steadily improving. They play that UT game 10 times they lose eight. I think they got boat raced in part because of the previous two weeks. They will be rested adds absolutely fired up. This is the most nervous I have ever been for a farmageddon.

I'm just going by the metrics as of now, granted that can change as the season goes along.

Also, the defense is really bad, only Tech's might be worse in the conference.

I hope you're right, I'm really nervous though; more about us, less about them. We will have an Iowa qb playing his personal super bowl though. There will be a zillion Sisco fans here. My Sisco fascination started here two years ago when I sat near what seemed like a hundred people in Ertz jerseys, good peeps.

No, he is not. He's from Mediapolis, which is in the middle of nowhere.
