While all the running backs did well, our rotation is mind boggling.
Hubes might be better than Ertz. Even if he is blind in one eye.
Defense showed some frustration and passion. Coaching staff finally went full dementia today.
Stone hands still can't catch, Zuber dropped a crucial one. Special teams was nonexistent.
Our qb play might have been the worst I've ever seen? I've never seen passes thrown so far off their mark.
The absolute worst part of this game was how badly we got out coached in all aspects of the game.

I'm just completely over our coaching staff. I'm to the point of not caring. I used to get pissed when we lost in basketball, but got used to it with oscar. I'm getting to that point with our coaches and their dumb-assery with the football team. I want wins for the players sake, but it doesn't affect me anymore if we lose.

It was stupid how we kept trying to throw when we can't

Kody Cook would win job by a mile

Whay specifically would you have changed re coaching?
I thought the players were the bigger problem today. Lots of missed tackles, busted coverage, dropped balls, and inaccurate passes. Our QB's have got to be able to hit the wr above the knees on those screen patterns.
Right when Ertz hit his stride he spaghettied his arm :bawl:

Ertz doesnt have a stride
-
I've been frustrated when the offensive play calling, and the refusal to check out of blitzes on defense, but today seems like a weird game to bitch about coaching.

called better plays on offense and had a better scheme on defense

No doubt OU has more talent on their roster but the defense is our strength and ou was completely prepared with their passing game. They knew exactly what to do to shred us apart. It's like we didn't even know which weapons they had.
The offense play calling and lack of balls to go for it on fourth traveling by two possessions still stings but it isn't anything new. Our qbs just can't run this offense and they seem to think waters is still at the helm and haven't adapted.

who recruits these players? Who puts them in the right packages? Who helps them grow and learn the game?
Ill listen off air

Things like 8 years cushions on 4th and 6 are infuriating. We haven't had any receivers as open as OU's all year. The fact is we do not have a strategic advantage against much of the league.

*Recruiting is also a problem.

recruiting has been a long standing problem

You can't say it's not on the players and then blame recruiting.

Blowing assignments in the secondary is not on the coaches.

It shouldn't take until halftime each week to figure out how to slow down the other team

i think this is part of the problem. the coaches are stuck in the old days mindset where teams didnt score 40 points in a half, so halftime adjustments still made sense. now we adjust, but can never catch up.

Nothing is on the coaches.

Not specifically this game, but the whole season and what is more than likely to come with this coaching staff the rest of the way out. Players just blew many assignments and made mistakes today, against a team you just can't do that with.

Our defensive players "busted" assignments because OU kept running short stuff until they saw our safeties cheating up and then went over the top. OU was excellent on play calling today and we couldn't match them. Definitely out coached, which I would have expected anyway.

Only with a competent coaching staff.
