Why would you guys build the stadium so far from those hills in the background? Seems weird.
-
Now that's a tiny little baby stadium

Because it's on campus. The foothills are 3 miles west.
-
Now that's a tiny little baby stadium
Capacity is 41k. It's easily/cheaply expandable which I suspect will happen with a Big 12 invite.

Save your $, that's not happening

There will be no invitation.

That being said looks nice and you should be happy with that stadium

looks to be a pretty sharp facility, Rams.
-
I mean, I absolutely care.
-
Neat little stade.
I like both CSU and Houston's new digs.
-
I mean, I absolutely care.
Will there be a better G5 stadium (specifically dedicated to a university)?
What's the best one currently? Nippert (which I hate)?

Had no idea their stad' was that nice.
-
that pressbox is impressive.
-
Looks like a good amount of close parking. I can really get behind a stadium like that.

1. Rentschler Field isn't nice, its new. That press box is nice but the seating bowl and concourse are meh.
2. It isn't on campus, it isn't even close, about 45 minutes away in Hartford. It isn't owned by UCONN, it's owned by the state and the university leases it.
3. I believe those cars are there because those lots are used for park and ride.

1. If we're talking G5, it's nice.
2. Didn't know that, thanks. That takes this stade out of the conversation anyway.
With them out, it's probably Cincy. Houston's is nice, minus the concrete field wall (should tarp it).. and I think ECU, UCF, Fresno and maybe Boise are planning renovations to be nicer.
-
Tulsa's stadium is really nice, but it's only 30,000, never full, and the parking/tailgating isn't very good.
It's probably the nicest little stadium around though.
-
i'd say the answer is ECU. They just need a new pressbox, then their stadium would be. v. v. impressive.

At the 51 second mark, you can see an "A" painted on a hill. That's right above our current football stadium and is 3 miles west of campus. The stadium belongs on campus.
