Any reviews yet?  Thinking it might be a fun flick to not take too seriously.

It's a good, entertaining western.  You know exactly what you're getting, no surprises.  I love westerns so really enjoyed it.  Not as good IMO as 3:10 to Yuma or True Grit to compare to some other modern remakes.

IMO, John Wayne was a better Rooster than Bridges. Although acting experience should prove otherwise, Glen Campbell was a better LaBouef than Matt Damon. Kim Darby far outdistanced Hailee Steinfeld as Mattie. And whoever played Ned Pepper in the remake didn't hold a candle to Robert Duvall.
