Post by: Dr Rick Daris on September 16, 2016, 09:51:50 AM
who all went last night? I went. I saw big train there. did you guys and gals have fun? bounce houses and such and what about the bates studio dance team? then the pride and then bill and sean? star studded evening. ask me if you have any questions about this event. want to discuss the move from poyntz to the park? this is your place. this is your time. THIS! IS! YOUR! THREAD!

this summer we had an elite b-day party in the shelter right next to the sand volleyball courts. some other group of people were there and we showed up and I was like, "I'll handle this" and then showed them that our name was on the shelter and it got kinda nuts. they already had balloons and stuff up for their crappier version b-day party celebration and I felt kinda bad about it but then realized their celebration was for an adult and not a kid and I was like, "gtfo weirdos, why would you even claim the shelter between the sand and the splash pad for an adult?" anyway, our party was also for an adult but we had a ton of kids there so go cats.

you're welcome. I really had a good time putting this recap together for everyone. also, they moved all the bounce stuff from the east side of where that ice rink is to behind the bleachers. I'm not sure why I didn't mention this until now.

I've never taken my kids to City Park. That's pretty terrible parenting.  Maybe next year I'll take them to the ppp in the p to introduce them to CP.

It was great seeing Ricky D at ppp in the p.  I left and passed Bill before he gave his speech.  He asked how I was and I said "Doing great coach, go cats!" Then he told me to keep being a fine youngster and he appreciates me.  I thought that was very nice and go cats!

one of my teammates used to take it way too seriously and would throw temper tantrums the first season we played (last summer). he has gotten a bit better, but still has incidents from time to time. maybe you'll get to witness one of those!
