Title: Walking around the Plaza, ran into Jayhawk Jaxson

Poor kid.  He was standing on the patio of the Falloon with his buddy who went to Nebraska, watching the Nub game.
Drinking a Jack and Coke and he asked if they could sit down.  His wife (parole officer) was working and couldn't come watch the Nebraska game with them.  He's chain smoking Camels.

"Ya, have the table Jaxson- I'm heading home anyway.  What time do you guys play?"

"Oh- not sure, I'm not a fan."

poor Jaxson.  poor, poor Jaxson.

Funny coincidence, Jayhawk Jerry came by today to seed the yard.  Had the hawk ball cap on and the monogram patch on his work uniform.  I gave him a wave and set out a couple water bottles for him. 

"Nice fall day."
"Yep."

I like Jayhawk Jerry, he's a great guy.  Turf school drop out, but he does ok I think.

I'm sure the loss today to Ohio in some way is a learning experience.

I'm guessing that their wide receiver/ head coach of theirs will ask them to take notes.

Jazmyn and Randy Jayhawk from highway 24 are going to be pretty upset that this turn around isn't as easy as they originally thought.  They forget just how far Beatty has to bring this team of losers.

the good news is that they won the game.  emotionally and mentally.  like Chingon always says, wins aren't always shown on the scoreboard.
i'm sure the bars in raytown will be full tonight.  celebrate, Hawks, celebrate.  Sláinte.
