WTF was that gameplan? That was what I would have expected to see against Missouri State. There were no wrinkles, we had to get behind two scores before we decided to pass on first down, all of the runs were between the tackles, we didn't use #familyfullback at all and the TE once. Did Dana decide we weren't going to win so we would just go vanilla a.f.?

Play calling is always infuriating.

Bill, Del and Dana are rough ridin' morons.  That's not changing.

A lot of those penalties are the fault of the coaches/scheme as well; the 12 men on the field, delay of game, and the false starts.

I appreciate that we make adjustments at half.  It's just frustrating that we almost always, in big games, get behind by three scores before we seem ready to play.

It's a trademark of a Snyder coached team

Indeed, it seems to be.

Isn't it a bit premature to be talking about the 2017 offense?

 :dunno:

I really wish we had Kody Cook at QB. It's inexcusable that our coaches didn't have him at QB all of last season.

There is no way Delton running around doing random crap could be worse. Thompson could also not be worse.

Isn't that exactly what Sisco was doing last night? What leads you to believe that Delton would have done any better? We still would have been playing Stanford and still would have Dana and Del calling plays.

Remember how embarrassing it was to see Jesse "can move because my leg is cramping" Ertz get called to run it?

They called two qb draws with a qb who couldn't run back to back. I remember

I'm not ready to write off Ertz, but the truth is that Hubener and Cook put up more points than that in every game except OU last year.

Our coaches are fantastic with QB run game.  Without a qb we can/will run, our efficiency goes way down.

To me, Ertz looked extremely tentative with his knee, and our play calling seemed to try to avoid running him (except, of course, when he was cramping)

Should be just as good as this year. Who do we lose? :dunno:

We lose Charles Jones, Deante Burton, Joe Hubener,  and Terrale Johnson (OL).

AKA we lose nothing.  :ksu:
