Title: Obama appointed judge fracks up Obama, BLM, fossil fuel haters

A judge appointed by Obama has ruled that the BLM cannot issue regulations that prohibit fracking on federal lands because Congress did not give the agency the authority to do that. This is great. I cannot run my car by sunshine. shazbot! the hell out of everything. God put it here for us to exploit.

The BLM is charged with managing the land to which they are entrusted.  The BLM evaluates and grants or rejects bids for energy development all the time.  They are managing for multi-use, a balance of commercial, recreational, and conservation activities.  Obviously they have the authority to permit or restrict the kind of energy development that goes on on BLM ground.
