terrible job to take. He'll get fired there.

Qualified!

Maybe he can drain some of the fluid off his head down there, in guessing he can get better medical treatment in San Antonio now.
-
But then it would no longer be a regulation sized basketball.

i mean, tho, why? he's just taking the bu route. i am even admitting he will probs suck, just that bu made it a more attractive 1st job by being a stud.

BU walked into a great situation at SFA

exactly, they were coming off a conference title and hadn't had a losing season in 9 years. SFA won 27 games the season before BU arrived, UTSA has won 27 games in the last 3 seasons.
-
Maybe he has the GRCOAT utsa edition lined up
-
I hope he goes 32-5 and is one of our two candidates for the job next year with Kelvin.

Yep. The more coaches with K-State connections that do well, the better chance we land a coach worth a crap. Good luck, Steve Henson.

One of the biggest complaints when ever his name was mentioned in connection to K-State was his lack of head coaching experience.
Guess we will find out if he is a good HC.
Problem is if oscar is gone after next season one year as a HC won't be a good sample size.

IMO a lot of "good" head coaches would fail at that job.
-
if you take a simplistic approach to grading him, sure. an ad worth his salary should be able to evaluate hciw henson beyond just staring at the box scores. i mean, really? "no one has ever won here and neither did you so you can't coach" ? always, ALWAYS, important to remember that not all wins are labeled with a w. so there's that- something to take with you from this thread. y-w.

I just don't want him to show up bald with a goatee.
-
Guy can X and O people's face off but the question remains of he can 'cruit. If he gets some burger boys to UTSA look out!

Possibly, but imagine if he does well there.

oscar will coach here longer than just next season

How well does someone who is bald with a goatee fit in in San Antonio?
