Title: GOOD PLACES FOR PLAYERS TO TRANSFER
Post by: Pete on March 21, 2016, 08:08:32 PM
ITT lets help our players identify good schools for a transfer!

Let's start with Wes.  He's from Houston, so why not head back home and play for Kelvin Sampson?!?  A great coach, loved by his players...right in Wes' backyard!  You only live once, Wes!  Take a year off, hit the weights, and make your mark in your final season in front of your family and friends!!!

Claws:  obviously his family wants him to transfer to Iowa, but how about Wichita State?  I'd hate to see him leave the state, but I'd love to see him "win."

Deathbite:  from the Baltimore area...he has to take time off to recover from knee surgery anyway.  Why not VCU?!?

Or, take a short drive down Tobacco Road to Danny Manning's Wake Forrest squad and play in the ACC for a former NBA player and Naismith winner!

Totally.  We need him to teach the right culture.

Xavier Sneed allegedly had other offers, but that's hard to believe.

Let's just say the kid isn't lying about that (LOL).  Why not back out and go to Xavier or Wichita State?

Heck, if you are going to play for a lame duck coach, stay home and play for Mizzou.  Save your family and friends the gas money when they watch you lose.

Did Dean get a look from Wisconsin?

Food for thought:  Wes has his folks put out feelers to SMU to make them and offer.  Might as well get paid for your last year, I am right?

In all seriousness Dean should spend next year at Hutch and then go to OSU

He's not good enough to warrant a look from Wisconsin.

I like it, but I'd love to seem him spend a year sitting and putting on weight On in a Good system.

Is he prone to home sickness?  If not, wouldn't it be fun to see what he could do as a rangy shooter in Wisconsin's system coming off of those screens?

Or, just head west down I70 and spend the next 4 years in the beautiful Rocky Mountains at CU...where road trips take you to Southern California and the lovely Pacific Northwest instead of Waco and Lubbock.

Can you imagine what Stokes' inbox must look like?

Holy cow, probably a billion better places to rehab a knee than in Manhattan with oscar.

Wes should take as much summer school as he can, get on track to graduate a semester early, and transfer unrestricted as a grad.  You can still do that right?

How much fun would it be to transfer to Hawaii???  Have your parents or AAU coach make a phone call!

Sitting around South Beach, lifting weights, jogging on the beach, not a bad way to spend a redshirt year.

Has there been a more unlikeable ksu hoops 'leader' than Wes? Woof, what a loser.

It's fair question to ask:  what kind of a player chooses oscar Weber?

I don't know, man.  I just don't know.

Are you concerned that if we hire someone else we'll lose all of our players and recruits? To this question I answered Yes that concerns me because I have seen it happen at other schools. On can say that players/recruits loyalties should be with the school and teammates. But it would surprise you just how loyal they are to the coach who brought them in. That is my biggest concern if KSU were to hire a new coach at this time. This team plays good together, have a great chemistry, and have a chance to build on something here. But if the fire Weber and hire a new coach you take a chance on destroying all that. I know some feel that is a chance Currie should take. But like I have said in the past a coaching change could set thing back even further. That is just my 2 cents
