If he had a gofundme page I'd give him all of my money. That guy literally gave his body and well being to every team he played for. I can't think of a player that gave his body up for us as much, maybe CK.

The article didn't mention him taking medical marijuana but I hope he does. The article did mention that the league is paying for his medical treatment, I wonder if the league somehow does not cover medical marijuana in its treatment cost?

Dude took steroids to reach heights far above and beyond his ability to obtain naturally, so I'm not surprised at all that he is having these issues. Lots of people are connecting the dots that steroid use is connected to individuals being more perceptible to CTE.

football (as we know it) should be abolished.  and it will be.

I don't think theres much question the dude had a screw loose long before he arrived on campus. I think that's part of why he was such a great safety.

Also, thought this was going to be a hick thread, started by a hick about a hick CoOp

I too thought it was going to be a hick thread, but about a chicken coop.  It seems you and I arrived at the same place through two very different routes.  Much like our mutual interest in the KSU cats, Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  Food for thought.

The steroid connection makes since given the doctors who discovered CTE are now looking for CTE in women's soccer players

Steroids are to blame because they greatly enhanced his ability to smash the eff out of his head.

Coop reached mythological status with me.  Within the last year I've had the "is the Coop boa constrictor story real?" discussion.  There's also the "Coop broke a major donor's collarbone in a flag football game" story I'm 99% sure is true.

I loved watching that guy.  Sad story.

You're smart enough to use Google well but can't figure out why people are pissed at your post.

Talked with a former K-State cheerleader who was there during the Coop days yesterday. She has a kid with a former linebacker from there as well. She had some fascinating stories about coop. I guess he plays both sides in the dating universe. Hooked up with many of her friends. I don't know why she felt the need to tell me all of this, it was very bizarre.

Maybe she had CTE from banging the linebacker
