I can hear the Khrennikov in the background now.

"What mechanisms do we have available to even do simple things like tax enforcement because if in fact you can't crack that at all, government can't get in, then everybody is walking around with a Swiss bank account in their pocket."
-
So your smart phone is a small island state somewhere in the Caribbean or South Pacific with a shady banking system?
-
Yikes
-
So stupid
-
Did he really say he was committed to civil liberties in the same speech? Amazing

Obummer is dead ass wrong about this, of course, but didn't you spend two weeks on here having a fit about net neutrality? It seems as if you are inconsistent on your stance on the role of government in technology but consistent on hating all things Obama.
-
Umm what!
-
Lol, so you're actually saying that an over reach by the executive branch into the regulatory oversight of a government agency on what is essentially now the third utility is the same as a blatant attack on privacy??
LOL only you MIR, only you.
-
What I'm saying is that your inconsistency on the issue speaks more to you being a mindless partisan shill than it does about your grasp of the two issues at hand.
-
Guys, enforcing the law is hard ok? Why not help Barry out by creating a single means to access all electronically stored information? What is the worst that could happen?

WTF are you talking about? I had like 3 or 4 posts in the net neutrality thread of which one discussed the massive costs of building networks in the United States, another had to do with telecom lawyers (and lobbyists) and their ability to work the rules to big telecoms advantage, and one addressing overreach into the policy domain by the executive branch. Net Neutrality doesn't have much to do with a sitting president advocating for outright government access into personal electronic devices . . . translation; give us another backdoor in so we can spy on you.
-
Dax I feel like you are too much a part of Big Networking to be impartial on net neutrality, like slobber talking about lawn care or Rick Daris and police

ipa4me and honeywell equipment

I see nothing inconsistent with opposition to federal LEO monitoring and opposing massive regulation of the internet

Not anymore chief.
Again, I only see at best a fringe crossover between net neutrality and the government demanding a backdoor into personnel electronic devices . . . and that's being extremely loose with the concept of fringe.
