I will be mad if we are selected.  Making fun of oscar quotes doesn't even do it for me at times anymore.

the players deserve to play in the nit.  but since they don't know that they deserve the nit, i have to root for them not to make the nit.

No, he'll just pay to be in one of those extra extra crappy tournaments.  That should piss everyone off.  What a waste of money.

Vegas 16 also sounds good because it is a neutral court.  No way we win a road game in the NIT.

50,000 dollars, tho.  oscar should have to foot the bill.

You know oscar sure as hell has interest in the CBI/CIT so he can chalk up yet another postseason appearance on his resume.

I think even oscar realizes CBI/CIT appearances don't hold any value to most fans. The NIT barely does.

Was anyone at the "Madness in Manhattan" the year after the WNIT when Deb Patterson said "We're returning a team that won a national championhip.." and everyone just kinda awkwardly stared at one another?

With oscar and Currie you can never be too sure how low they're willing to set the bar for what can be considered valuable or successful.

If we get to any stupid ass post-season play that doesn't matter at all I'll be highly upset....

Our dumbass administration will praise oscar for all his great work this season and how we, "improved."

But if we don't make it to post-season play, our administration will still love oscar and make all these stupid rough ridin' excuses as to why post-season play didn't happen.

Lose-lose scenario and we all rough ridin' suffer.

I hate everything that is K-State athletics these days and I don't like admitting that.

If hell freezes over and oscar is fired, then the team shouldn't go. Too big a headache to coordinate around a coaching search/transition. Otherwise, I agree. I mean, it makes us look small timey as eff, but that can't get in the way of us doing the best thing for our college athletes (which would actually be to fire oscar, and in that case they shouldn't go.)

I mean if we faced one of the most difficult schedules in school history what does that say about the schools 11 places in kenpom and 20 places in the RPI higher? I wonder how many references to toughest schedule I'd find on the Wake Forest, Florida, and Stanford websites? I bet ours outnumber theirs, combined.

I could see TCU look hard at Kelvin too.

Brad deserves better than TCU, plus I have to think he is smarter than to walk into that dumpster fire.

The way their court looks on TV alone pretty much precludes them from any kind of basketball success.

underwood will have better offers than tcu and he knows it.  he's not stupid enough to jump at the first shitty program to waive a check.  if he has to stay another year, he will (but he won't have to though).

he already has.  just three weeks or so ago, i was in a very comfortable state of hopelessness.  i hope i can find it again, when needed.

Well, if you ever get tired of that, there's still plenty of room on the boring hopeless reality train.

Miring in bleak pessimism is pretty comforting.

You should be doing whatever it takes to get Underwood to stay another year.

Well if he does go to TCU Currie hasn't been shy about taking a head coach from them.

True, but do you think Currie would take someone so closely associated with Frank? Frankly, (no pun intended) I hope Currie would do just that.
