In his heart of hearts, do you think he feels the sting of barbs directed his way from the anti-oscar crowd, or is he still patting himself on the back for hiring Gene Keady's groomsman?

After the way he micromanaged frank, I would think he would be getting tired of hearing the assanine things oscar says in post games and any other time he opens his mouth. When oscar said we played good basketball after the Tech loss, I really thought that was something that came out of a conversation Currie had with oscar. Maybe he told him to quit blaming players. He has to cringe everytime oscar has a teleconference. It's embarrassing.

Currie is the kind of self-confident person that believes he has made a great hire. Right now, he's lulling the peasants with the story line that nuking last years roster gives Weber at least 2 more years to get us back to the middle of the conference, which is good enough to make Currie happy. It's when a hire to replace Snyder becomes necessary is when Currie will have that air of self-confidence truly tested.

Why would he? He hired the most successful KSU basketball coach in almost 30 years.

Chings posting has really been hurting these days.
