Kill the running process....search to find where the executable is located. Delete it. Run Malware Bytes to get everything else. :dunno:

Works for me every time.

I had this a few weeks ago... :facepalm:
What worked for me was installing and running Search and Destroy. That got rid of enough of the virus to allow me to run Malware Bytes to completely remove it.

Some of these viruses have been known for blocking the way these programs run...if that is the case you can boot up into safe mode with networking and try to install these anti-virus programs from there.
