Obviously dax is first place by a mile, so who do you fellow pit'rs feel is the second most partisan? obviously you have your ksuw's, fsd's, and ednksu's, but what about the lesser knowns like cat27, john dougie, and the newcomer 'lemy?
I don't want to influence the debate, so I'll give my opinion on page 2

dirty sanchez

Wow, going old school
-
It's got to be 'Lemy, saying abestos wasn't bad for you so he could stick to his argument showed great courage and partisanship.
-
guys, lemy is a dumbass sock. Those shouldn't count.

Nominate your own, brah
-
Personally, I think KSU is ahead of dax.
-
Is Lib7's obsession with Dax more or less unhealthy than the BMWjhawk Wacky thing?
-
Personally, I think KSU is ahead of dax.
Absolutely. Dax trolls at times, KSUW is all business 24/7/365.

I don't even know what a sock is, beyond the ones I put on my feet.
I damn well better win this. There is no one more intellectually consistent (partisan) than me.
And for the record, asbestos is only a health concern when two criteria meet: the material is friable and humans inhale lots of it. Ambulance chasing looyeahs have made an industry of extorting money from productive people in all insulating industries over these overwrought fears.
-
Was "looyeah" your way of disparagingly calling these supposedly unscrupulous lawyers Jewish? Sock.

You have to be one to be the other.
And lol at calling me, one of the most moderates here, partisan.

steve dave would be captain of Team Moderate.

Maybe I am missing something, but CNS seems like a moderate, not a hyper idealogue like myself or others.

When you go to old power plants all the time like I do and you see insulated gaskets, pipes, cable tray, cables, and walls with that damn crap everywhere, and having to mitigate every time you disturb it, which guess what, you are going to, you damn well will see a) the material become friable and b) humans around to inhale above the normal amounts of it. It's not some damn conspiracy, it's literally everywhere in those old plants and you can't do any sort of upgrade or maintenance without disturbing it. And if you don't mitigate or do anything, then it'll hurt the workers exposed to it over time. It's like black lung for coal miners. One day or a few times isn't ideal and you'll probably be fine, but these people aren't exposed to it for short periods of time, they are around it everyday, for years, if you don't mitigate they will get asbestosis/mesothelioma. If you have the ability to prevent serious diseases for workers by properly managing the risks, you should do it.

Maybe I'm misremembering CNS's posting hell I don't know

In a small pit, where there are several with consistently one sided views, if you engage such ppl, it makes you appear to hold a certain depth of belief you may not.
-
Michcat= Jamar (triple pump missed lay ups)
Mir= Luis colon (no skills, just wants to hack at people)
Lib7= Fred Brown ( takes too many ill advised shots)
-
edn, runs with the ball when he thinks the game is over

Are we talking partisan or ideological? I'm not very partisan.
No matter what spectrum we're using, I'm not Sprads. What in the eff?

Maybe if you were more partisan you could have been Mitch Richmond.

That doesn't make me partisan. That makes me pragmatic (as against The Liar). I have been quite critical of Republicans, both in terms of their legislative incompetence and such a large part of their base supporting this buffoon.

No. Michael Savage thing.

Unwrinkle your panties. That's pretty much what I said.
But the issue is way overblown, thanks in no small part to the ambulance chasers, and damn near destroyed the fiberglass and mineral fiber insulation industries.

I wanted to be Freddy Brown. :frown:

You think intellectually consistent and partisan are the same thing?
No. I'm intellectually consistent on political matters. Partisan depends on the branch of the party one is adherent to.
-
Typically when someone jumps through hoops to support the ideologies of one party's candidates and/or decry the ideologies of another party's candidates, I consider that person to be pretty partisan.

Yeah, when I hear "I'm intellectually consistent on political matters," I hear "I believe exactly what the republican party tells me to believe." First of all "intellectually consistent" is utter bullshit that doesn't mean anything. Consistent with what? Are you saying that you take the intellectual stance on everything and the stance opposite of yours lacks intellect and nuance? Secondly if you are consistent with any track of thought, that is exactly partisan.
-
Yea, "intellectually consistent" just sounds like "prejudicial and closed minded" to me.
-

Yep, and you and KSUW, and the parade of socks like FSD and ptolmey. The difference is that I don't think lib7 denies that he is a partisan. I'll wear the partisan label but I regularly take a hatchet to Obama, Obamacare, Hillary, Biden, and drug legalization. Occasionally calling Donald Trump a name does not absolve you from being partisan.

Oh I took it as a compliment, it's just you're definitely the fifth in that liberal pentagon. One of the neocons need to start a grotesquely liberal sock. I mean we have plenty of liberals here but none that I would consider an over-the-top liberal stereotype like FSD is for the neocons. We need someone that's like all of the liberals that kind of make us sick. Subaru driving, exclusively nalagene using, cloth diapering, Dr. Broners using, vegan, phony intellectual, constantly correcting, but one who has never spent ten seconds of their lives around people different from themselves. Ugh, I hate that person.

cRusty is the closest :frown:

Strange I didn't say I wasn't partisan #confused
Yes, and that's all I do, occasionally call Trump a bad name

Whether FSD is a sock is irrelevant to me, what's more important is whether you think he is posting what he thinks or parody posting, I don't believe the Michael Beasley of the pit is parody posting  at that notion!
