Title: da rest of da way
Post by: pissclams on February 22, 2016, 08:36:31 PM
here's what we're looking at to finish up what i think we all can agree has been an up and down, but very successful season-

@ isu
tcu
@ tech

then the big 12 tournament which has been proven is up for grabs every year

i see no reason why this team doesn't win 2-3 and back door our way into the N.I.T.
once we're in the big dance, anything can happen- and every win means more time for this team to gel and to get better.  i know a lot of you are looking for instant success but that's not how big time programs build themselves.  teams are built for the long haul one practice at a time.

i'm calling my shot right now-
loss @ isu (we're just too young to handle their experience)
win vs tcu
loss @ tech (we're just too young to handle the pressure of an NIT bid)

We'll beat TCU at home, they are worse than us. Should beat OSU in KC, also worse than us. But that's it.

So 17-16, 5-13 after the Big 12 tournament.

Currie's letter:  "the 'chant' which has caused so much concern among K-State Alumni nationally in past years wasn’t nearly as pronounced as past years." (Crowd chanted "f$&k KU" in EVERY song instead of just to Sandstorm)

I'm sensing a "oscar's trajectory has not been nearly as pronounced as Deb's was"

Wait for it...
