the earliest we can begin to evaluate oscar's performance is 2017, and then its only fair to judge him on two years.

Except when they don't, but oscar takes care of that when their benefit as a player no longer outweighs their benefit as a scapegoat.

To be honest, I never foresaw this day. We did two different contract extensions for Coach Weber, and I always thought we would be doing another one at some point. I didn’t think we would be in this position. But as the year unfolded and you look at the position we have been in the last five years, I just didn’t feel right in the transition. I felt that it was time.
