help Coach Weber strengthen our basketball program.
Keady is a K-State grad and has national standing as a superb college coach and recruiter based on his tremendous success at Purdue. Keady is from Larned, KS and coached at Beloit HS and Hutch Juco before going to Purdue.
He would have an immediate/positive impact on our recruiting and game-day coaching. Keady and Weber would work well together in leading our basketball program forward.

That rough ridin' old fossil is the reason we have Oscar ruining the program. Some kind of long con to revenge 1988.
-
Keady brought a style of fire & brimstone to coaching that would serve the current roster and coaching staff at K-State very well. Keady has always been a stand-up guy and never backed down under any circumstances.
Any of you who think he is too old should say that to his face and then standby for his response!!!

He'd probably turn beet red and then clench his fists and piss himself.
Old story...word was when Max was replacing Tan Tom he made a call to Keady, loyal KState alum and successful coach, asking his interest in coming home. Keady asked what we were paying. Urich said something in the range of $600K. Keady hung up the phone.
Real loyal guy.

Our rough ridin' ex-AD tried to cheapskate Bill Self with a lecture about loyalty.
That's how we got stuck with rough ridin'

Being over 70 is NOT a factor in coaching performance, and I am offended that folks on gE have resorted to that lame argument.
-
most coaches hit their stride around age 79
-
World Series champs 2003: Marlins.
Manager: Jack McKeon age 73
you think he's too old say it to his face
-
oscar isn't the problem, the lack of quality assistant coaches on the bench is the problem. Clearly the team lacked fire and that is squarely on the shoulders of Lowery
