Title: Frostbite
Post by: tdaver on February 05, 2016, 03:00:17 PM
I think I have a very minor case of frostbite.  I went skiing after work 2 days ago and it was super cold, like 1 deg with a negative windchill by the end of the night.  My fingertips are still extra sensitive, kind of tingly and feel puffy but no noticeable swelling.  No discoloration, blistering or any of the bad frostbite symptoms.  Kinda weird.  Hopefully it goes away.

Yes, we need an "ask Dr Emaw" thread for this kind of stuff

I think a thread wherein someone posts their symptoms and then someone else calls an Ask A Nurse hotline for them would be a real hoot.
