Did you see that performance from oscar going into the locker room?
But really, KU apparently fouls about half as much as every opponent in Allen Fieldhouse.
-
He was justified in acting like that. KU got the star treatment from the refs the last ten minutes of the first half.
-
at least brent and fran called out the refs on national television for it
-
i don't think i've ever really heard an announcer call out the refs as much as fran did tonight. he pointed it out early and often.
-
no coach in america could have won from the visitors bench tonight guys
-

Completely justified. I'm just saying he's a fake tough guy.

Me either. Moral victory of the night for me.
-
As I said in chat, driving home from work it was so bad I heard Bob Davis say "Oh my, they're going to call it on K-State."
-
Holy crap! Felix Rex just tweeted that the one dumbass fouling out tonight was only the second time in six yrs where a ku player fouled out at home. Last March was the first time in 5 yrs. I mean, I don't know how obvious things need to be in life before they are acknowledged

Wasn't one of his fouls the lame double technical, too?
-
I would have attacked all three referees after that crap show
-

Yes. Made my night!
-

Pfffttt. Jim Wooldridge would have found a way. He would have broken both his hands.
-
The fact that oscar didn't get a technical tonight tells me what I need to know about him.
Dumpster. Fire.

I'm rough ridin' happy he didn't, especially only down 6.

He should have pulled the trigger after the DJamer foul. Absolutely.
-
We might have lost the game if oscar got teed up tho.

Exactly. There were about a billion opportunities in the last ten minutes to go off. Fake. Tough. Guy.
-
i think our guy clevey is ready to burn it down
-
We made a run down by 10 at half on a freak play, but yeah let's give them more after being up by 9 in the 1st half on the road.
-
We all know they're going to get the calls . . . but the one on DJamer for the "illegal screen" was a real cheery on top of all
The five second call on the inbound was a  that's been documented on social media, it was barely 4, let alone 5. Never stop #big12refs
-
I honestly think they should start giving credit for being up 9 in the first half. Maybe we can start a petition? It's worth at least 1/4 wins right? If up more than 10 you get a 1/3 win, and more than 20, 1/2 a win.

When the foul was called on DJamer for the moving screen they were already in their run after we cut it to two. They have the ball anyway, what's two more free throws. Take a shot at sending a message to your team, not just for this game, but for the season. After all the dumb stuff oscar says to the media, show your team you will fight for them.
-
And we should get more credit for coming back from huge deficits as well.

oscar cannot light a fire under this team. Here was a chance. He didn't take it. For 3/4 of that game it was clear we weren't going to win. That's enough, given the officiating, to rough ridin' go off.
-

the scoremakers did us no favors.
-
We are the best 2-7 team in the recorded history of college basketball. I just wish the rules of game would reflect that.
-
I wish I could drink less vodka but this rough ridin' team.
-

he's upset

I was hoping he'd at least unbutton his jacket. :frown:

oscar couldn't intimidate a 4 year old

But if you lose the lead they should add a fraction of another loss because it will save your fan base from hanging onto a bad coach too long.

Guess we'll find out with AJ's kids.
-
Coaches don't affect officiating beyond properly preparing their players for physical play.

So in cRusty World (cRW) there's no make up calls after a coach really gets on the refs, or gets T'd up? No coach has ever intimidated the refs?
Fascinating, absolutely fascinating.

I'm saying oscar should teach his players to not play like a bunch of pussies when they face back court pressure.
-
And no, no one ever gets the calls in Allen, regardless of how many t's the coaches get. Well coached, talented teams handle the refs there.

I'm not disputing that at all, but thanks.
-
This topic always makes me laugh, similar to how the refs laugh at oscar.
oscar is a massive dork. When he gets upset at the refs, the refs just dismiss him. They have zero fear/intimidation.
-
anyone got video of him acting tough?

If oscar was a real tough guy we would have won at least as many games as Frank playing at KU by now.
-

I guess the 24 TURNOVERS wasnt a factor.. Or perhaps you should up your quickness so you wont foul as much
-
Stop pissin and moaning,, :blah: :blah: :blah: Its the same ass whipping you get in AFH every year, every year you make the same excuses. You had 24 yes TWENTY FOUR turnovers. The STAT SHEET STUFFER didn't show up yet again. In other news KU played like crap and still managed a double digit win .. Heres to your possible .500 season :bball: :flush: :flush: :flush: we love coach WEBER

Ha. Well said.
On the ref topic. I'm not one to typically call them out, but it was awful last night. That being said, we didn't lose the game bc of the refs.

A lot of those turnovers were off of bullshit foul calls, though. And we didn't have one of our best players because the schedule makers made us play Ole Miss just a few days ago when we should have had our bye. We really can't blame oscar for this. Under normal circumstances, he would have won by 10. oscar will get an extension from this.

These hick fans from KU make me laugh. LOL, go back to your chickens on the rolling plains! GMAFB! smh

Must have been break time at the feed mill, so RP had a chance to get on the 'puter.
