On the eve of a $1.5 billion lottery, the Cats finally won theirs. Besides a poor effort on the defensive boards, the Cats had a solid performance with a ridiculous 1.5 ppp first half. A little sloppy in the 2nd, but a much needed win, now get the Clones.

Post by: Canary on January 12, 2016, 10:16:29 PM: I was glad to be there. Amazing what not digging a hole in the first ten minutes can do for a team. They looked really good for a better portion of the game. Brown and Stokes were solid for the game.

Yes, for the last several games every time someone took a three you just knew it would be a miss and a defensive rebound for the opponent. Last night after a few went in I didn't assume a miss. Great to see a bunch made.

Rebounding has been marginal to bad all season. They did improve as the game went in but I agree it was bad.

Rebounding has been marginal to bad all season. They did improve as the game went in but I agree it was bad.

Rebounding intensity improved a ton in the second half. We also played a good portion of that with a smaller lineup due to Wes' foul trouble. As long as this team starts making shots at a higher clip (doesn't have to be as great as last night was) I feel like they will be alright down the stretch. I am so excited for the future of Deathbite and The Flush... :excited:

A buddy I was with at the game commented about the Brown/Stokes combo. It was good to see them taking control and hitting those shots.

It was good to see him hit a couple of threes. What in the heck is wrong with Bigmeat? It looks like Hopper must be feeling better. Guys Hot Horndogs gives good and needed grunt minutes, pasture bull style. Rebounding and foul shooting still concerns.
