Title: Will KU win this conference again??

Looks like it. Sad to say, but it looks like it.

Who knows if OU would have scored when they were down 1 with 13 secs.  I would have at least liked to see them get an opportunity.

Ou played great. Held was incredible.  Ou was just dead tired and it showed.  They run Iso play with Heild with lots of standing around when they were up 1. Next possession, hardly anyone was moving on the inbounds play that everyone is talking about.

My guess is yes, but I'm not sure there's anything that sad about it. My only takeaway from last night's game is that this should be a fun Big 12 season.

You know what is even less classy than storming the court?  16 thousand fans collectively yelling "bullshit" on live TV.   :shakesfist:

Yes, that was unclassy. I also think Coach Self should reign in the screaming and profanity. These are kids playing a game, and there is just no place for that sort of behavior.

OU is clearly the better team and should be ranked higher.  They went on the road three OT's and barely lost.  In Norman they win easily.

I didn't think they were going to, but after yet another lucky win at the phog this team may turn the corner

KU won't lose at home. They'll get a share of the league with OU.

OU has by far the easiest path and is clearly the best team. KU is a game back of 3 teams and in a 3 way tie with 3 others. They're going to have to play a lot better and hope all 5 of those other teams struggle to win the conf.

3 teams will probably hold serve at home. It will come down to roadies. KU's only road win is @ttech, and they've otherwise been embarrassed on the road.

The phog was a complete rage of anger after their game @WV about the B12 officials wanting them to lose because it was absurd that WV got to shoot 47 free throws.  Yesterday they shot 47 to Kentucky's 22

OU will have a big injury, which will allow KU to back into a tie (maybe). Sqwawks still a first weekend casualty in the torn-a-ment. Speaking of, wouldn't it be wonderful if Frank tossed them -- the game would be tuckville lose-lose.

Spangler and Lattin were invisible today. They combined for 2 FGs.  They got 6 DRs but allowed Lucas/Ellis to get 8 ORs.  Including the play of the game..... 4 pt Poss after Lucas Reb FT miss by Mason, then Ellis gets OR and hits Gtaham for 3pt.

Not so fast.  KU still has to come to Bramlage, a place they haven't won since back in 2013.  To put that into perspective, the last time KU won in Bramlage the Royals hadn't been to the playoffs in 28 years.

Ou only had 12 pts in the paint today.  Only 6-14 FG in the paint, and 10-28 on 2pt.  Tip of the hat to The KU D, but rather pathetic from Ou and especially their 2 bigs

Yeah, that really puts their slim-to-none chances in perspective (almost as much as does RP's non-sequitur what the eff response).

I can't believe oscar broke OU so bad.  It's like anyone with contact with his program has long sustained psychological impacts.  I bet those KU drug dealers were "pushing product" on them during the game.

Shaka owns Bill in games that really count.  He would be wise to go to the Spurs now.

Sorry if Luk'd but did anyone else catch that bit on ESPN where Self said that the NBA player he would most like to coach is K Leonard from the Spurs?? I thought it was very provocative. Expert trolling from Self.

That was a good article. Bill changing his stripes is interesting. I wasn't fully sure he could embrace Hoiball with this group and find a way to win, but he has.
