Title: Opening one present on Christmas Eve (& WATCHU GET MASTER THREAD)
Post by: EMADUB on December 22, 2015, 10:05:37 AM
This is Mrs EMADUB and I's first Christmas and I want to start some new traditions to celebrate our Savior's  birth that actually may have happened in Septmeber. Does anyone have any cool traditions? Is there a thread already about this?

Used to do sibling presents on Christmas Eve then the rest on Day. But because of travelling logistics on multiple ends and not living in the same city as my brother, now we just open presents whenever my immediate family has the chance to all sit down together. This year it will be the 23rd. I hope you and the Mrs. can start the tradition and keep it going as long as possible.

POST XMAS GIFTS YOU OR YOUR FAMILY RECEIVED ITT:

lil sd has hit the jackpot already (his grandparents were in town last weekend and he won't see them on XMas so early gifts were given):

This thing goes unsafely fast for a 2 year old but YOLO. it has a governor thing that will keep it in slow gear only but lil sd only likes to go fast. already had it so clogged up with mud the front tires wouldn't spin anymore and they were being pushed along by the mud packed rear wheels which were still spinning. has a working FM radio so he can jam out to christmas music while patrolling the hood.

I am now the owner of the tiny little baby traeger grill. I have never smoked stuff so this is all going to be new to me. it's still in the box and it's cold outside so it may stay there for awhile.

BabyEmo has one of those coming (I think a truck version), and his grandfather has assured me "that governor thing, I can get it off no problem."  He's 15 months pawpaw.  "Oh it's fine!"  :blindfold:

If he's getting a helmet, then he better get some jump ramps too.
