ITT, we discuss our chances against Dana's Heroes. Can Dana possibly outscheme Bill?

Haven't watched them one down this year.  I like to pretend that our conference didn't have a beer goggle moment and that they aren't part of the conference.

If you only looked at KSU's actual wins this year (KU, barely ISU), there is little reason to think we'll win. However if you include moral victories (TCU, Baylor, OSU) then it looks like we have a chance.

The Cats always "win one they shouldn't" and since I won't allow myself to think they used that game up against ISU or LA Tech, then I have to say the Cats will win this one.

One thing to consider is that Bill has gone on record saying he prefers bowl games in warmer climates. Don't be surprised if he throws this game to land the Cats in the Cactus.

Actually, since the start of round robin play the cats haven't won a game they shouldn't.

West Vir-gina hasn't beaten K-State in football since 1930.  Based on that stat alone, Cats roll!

Remember the first time we played WVU at Morgantown, and that idiot K-State mask made that video portraying their fans as a bunch of imbred hillbillies, and their fans got mad and threatened good looking K-State fans who came to the game, but instead nothing happened except we kicked the crap out of them, do you guys remember that?

I mean at the end of the year it was clear we were the better team, so we didn't "win one we shouldn't".  We should have (and did) beat OU.

Now the Texas games under Prince, yes those were games KSU shouldn't have won, but did.

We can take out the KSU-OU game if you like.

KSU: 6-2
OU : 5-3

we still ended up beating one more (common) conference opponent than they did.  I would say 2012 is the stronger case for me being wrong.

Just a sidebar, winning games you supposedly aren't supposed to win is stupid.

I don't want to win games because we suck and got lucky, which seems to be what Chings is talking about. I'm ok with that number being zero. I'd just prefer to be better and win, even if we are underdogs according to Vegas. :dunno:

Whenever the media talks about the big 12's new scheduling philosophy and how this would have helped Baylor and TCU last year I get unreasonably angry.

Observations so far:

1. Duke is good

2. Hubes is a nice guy, but I hope he never starts again as a Cats QB

3. I'm not proud of it, but I laugh a little bit every time I hear the announcer's say "smallwood."  Grade school was probably rough on that guy.

An older man was down. No heart beat. Watched them perform chest compressions and try to shock his heart back for 10 minutes until the ambulance arrived. Then a police officer told me to move along. I hope that was his life star that I saw a bit later.

My goodness our O line play calling sucks bad today.

They were committing sometimes as many as seven defenders to the interior line and put the entire secondary on islands but either we didn't have the capability to take advantage of their over aggression between the tackles or the coaches were too risk averse to do some things to get them to not pin their ears back on every damn play.

Great run on sentence.

Out of all things I can't think of a more overrated group the last 2 or 3 years.  Most athletic D lines regularly clown suit them.

I don't understand why they didn't run that play where shorts took two steps to drive the corner even farther up the field then Howard threw it to him for five yards, ever-y-time.  We rolled Lee over to him twice after they ran that play like 3 times in one drive then we stopped rolling Lee over there and they never went back to it.

Our defensive scheme gives every team the ability to gain 3-5 yards on hook routes and for some reason no one takes advantage of it. I don't know if coaches are too stubborn to change they're style or just get bored with it, but it's as hilarious that they don't as it it frustrating that our defense allows it.
