There's a goEMAW secret society. You can't request to be in it and what gets you an invite is the strictest secret of the society.

My dad is a Freemason. He told me all the secret stuff. Sounds pretty weird/exciting.

My dad, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great, and great great great grandfather were all free masons. My great great great grandfather was also an actual stone mason and built a hotel or something in Platte City, Missouri back before the civil war.
I don't know anything about it. I was never beaten in or whatever they do.

Having a hard time with this one. Can't decide if you are more Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) or less Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) because you haven't become one. Are you adopted?

Anyone know a Skull? :ohno:
bigwillie prob can't say he is a Mason, or him telling us his entire family is one is exactly the reason he isn't. :dunno:

You can say you're a Freemason. But there are passwords and handshakes that get you into secret places.
...and I know them all.

I know every secret in the Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz

All i can think of is National Treasure? Any truth in the movies?

I'm in an organization called The Oddfellows which gave me a small scholarship for each year of college.
It's pretty much a bunch of old guys about to croak that still try to make a difference. They forgot to recruit young people for about 20 years so it's all dying away now.

Was a pretty good movie.

Saw it at Westloop 6 when it was all dollar theaterey. My parents were trying to pack for our trip to Georgia so they sent SkinnyBenny and SkinnyBenny's Younger Bro to the movies with a fistful dollars for the ticket and some quarters to play Donkey Kong. :users:

Is that the IOOF?
We have one in my home town. Always wondered WTF they were all about.
Also, are they technically secret, or is it that nobody really gives a crap about them?

I'm a member of the most secret society ever made. We never meet in the same place twice, if you stop coming to meetings you are killed and if you forget a single word of the pledge we cut off a toe with a rusty pocket knife.

Yeah, you'd be correct. That's the Independent Order of the Oddfellows. It's old school like the Masons. It's secretive in the fact that you have to have secret codes, and hand signals and stuff to get into any of the buildings, but it all varies by location. So needless to say, I don't even know the codes to get into the lodge that initiated me back home in South Dakota. Some lodges could give a crap about that, some are old school crazy about it. Just depends on the area.
But yes, basically no one really gives a crap about them because they have so many old people that they never do anything in the public anymore.

Our society mandates that you sing Denmark's Royal Anthem every time you stand up and sit down.
