Thousands of empty seats at the last home game for their retiring coaches. MU embellished the attendance substantially, VT was 90 plus % full.
Then again fans at some other schools who point fingers at these situations have never had a "last game" for a great coach who may be slipping a little. Those types of schools see their coaches move on to other jobs or forced to resign/fired. Thus the fans have never had to deal with a "last home game" scenario. Imagine having a football program for over a hundred years and seemingly never having the opportunity to send a great coach off one last time. Kind of . . . sad

I was in Jamaica with no phone/internet/tv. Snyder was our coach with no intentions of quitting when I left and when I came home, he had retired and coached his last game.

Can confirm. Was there that game, it wasn't completely full. Upper deck, north and south sides were not full. And the sleet/cold made it more challenging.
That said, that was a entertaining game. Still have fresh memories of Archer running down the sideline for the pick six.

I appreciate the online MU fans because while most of their sports teams are back in their usual place mired in the bottom of the conference and their institution just announced nearly $50 million in budget cuts because of falling enrollment, they're obsessed with what happens to the Big 12.

Tigerboard is basically a rip on Big12 board. Every time an SEC team wins or Big 12 team loses they go bonkers
-
It's bizarre how they hold the conference higher than their own institution over in the SEC.
-
Sad little dick thread, Dax. Maybe you should have @thephog to get your message across
