I don't want to put a ceiling on these guys, but I feel like this is a good place to start.
-
My vote was Westbrook and Durant, in case you were wondering. Larry Bird conspicuously absent from the list since the Celtics didn't really have a PG/SG in that era good enough to be a metaphorical Brown, IMHO. It's hard to imagine Wade getting injured as often as Durant, though.

Anyone not going with zo and grandmama don't know what they are wanting and, frankly, need to reacquaint themselves with NBA Jamz!
-
Gary Payton / Shawn Kemp
Lots of great suggestions here, guys.
This electric Emerald City duo was in poll version 0.9 but just missed the cut since Shawn Kemp's 3-point shooting wasn't Wade-esque, IIRC. They were so intense, though (in a stoic city, no less)! Facial expressions alone were HOF-worthy.

Allen Iverson & Keith VanHorn
Unexpected but apt. Bonus points for remembering Keith Van Horn...and that they played together (just one year in Philly).
I wish I'd swapped Nash/Nowitzki for Miller/Schrempf.
-
Maybe John Starks & Patrick Ewing, if only Ewing was a sniper from beyond the arc.

Were considered and missed the cut for this very reason (I'd add that Wade is a much better jumper).
Finding two NBA all stars (who played together) with sufficiently well-rounded skill sets is a challenge, I admit.

Gary Payton / Shawn Kemp
This would guarantee generations of future cats.

Brown is sort of a Lance Harris with better guard skills while Wade is more of a Lance Harris with better forward skills.

so what are you implying? Lance Harris and Lance Harris?
Gonna win 'em all!
-
The Lance Harris post was great except it ignores the OP's premise and the fact that Harris was nothing like either player.
-
The comparison we all want to talk about is the comparison of the Browns, ie. is Barry > Fred?
I think so.

he looks a bit longer and he seems to have a better handle than Fred but they definitely share a shooter's clear conscious
-
Seems like it might be a good time to dust this one off for revised inputs given that Dean and Barry are about to embark on conference play season 2 (and your opinions of which former/current NBA all-star duo they most closely resemble might have changed).
