Title: Co-worker doing illegal things thread
Post by: KCFDcat on November 12, 2015, 07:21:43 PM
Mentioned this in another thread but...

Friend of mine stole a large sum of money from the union. City put them on leave. Now they threatened to kill a few people and blow up some fire stations. Wow. What a crazy 72 hours it's been.

Anyone else have some coworkers that have broken the law?

When in college I had two summers in a row when my summer job ended a couple weeks prematurely because my boss went to jail.  The first time, I went to lunch, came back with some for him, no one around.  I just finished what we were working on and toward the end of the day his accountant pulled up and said he got picked up for violating a restraining order his ex had against him.

My wife was the nanny for this couple during her freshmen year at K-State.  Up until about 4 months before the incident.

I also have a 2011 co-worker murder.  The guy went home and shot his wife in the head.  They lived in Independence.  He was manufacturing supervisor on a program I was managing.  I was working in his office after he left and didn't notice he left his badge and blackberry on his desk.  I talked to him 90 minutes before he did it.  Apperantly they'd previously has problems, reconciled, and she had just decided to leave again.  He got home, went straight to get his shotgun, shot her in the head while the kids were in the back yard swimming, then called his brother to come get his 4 kids because he'd just killed their mom.

When I was in high school, my coworkers smoked tons of weed. Even the Canadians. Oh, and they drank alcohol, too.

I was on a conference call with a guy in Alaska who had put in his 2 weeks and quit a few days later.  I heard a few days after his last day, i drove over to his old lady's appartment and shot her and her new boyfriend then went and turned himself into the local police.

I've got a blue collar co-worker who loves to talk about his legal issues, he will come up and just start talking about the latest issue in his case like its no big deal. Currently separating from his wife and they have restraining orders against each other.

Caught this gem the other day

"Before they brought her up on those charges she got tazed in the front yard, she had a knife in her hand when the police showed up. So now she has those charges as well. Man, Johnson county will hang you for anything"

The juiciest thing I got:  not a coworker but a coworker's husband was driving around drunk getting a beej from a prostitute.  He drove right though a fence into the backyard of some residential home.  I found this out because I asked her "hey where'd your truck go?  I liked that truck."  And she's like "my husband was driving around drunk getting a beej from a prostitute.  He drove right though a fence into the backyard of some residential home."  :sdeek:
