Title: Bills obsession with Manhattan High
Post by: Hingle_McCringleberry_KSU on November 10, 2015, 01:56:46 PM
Why does Bill insists on shoving these kids down our throats? He has a history of this. That linebacker , can't remember his name, I think it was in 2000 or 01 where it took a game or 2 before Bill finally benched him, but now it seems he's hesitant to do that now. Terrale Johnson shouldn't be playing let alone starting, Burton shouldn't start as well, and don't get me started on Dimels son that's just blatant  favoritism, why's he doing this? The old Bill would've benched these guys, New Bill not so much

Andre Davis should start over Burton, Will ashe or Stiverson over Johnson & Gronk shouldn't come off the field unless he's tired or in a two fullback set

What in the world? Bill has played like 3 Manhattan players in the history of time and now we have a thread about it. Do you just blow off the handle at everything?

There was a tight end in the early 90s that was pretty good from Manhattan high, I know there was a walk on receiver that we actually threw the ball to when Bill came back for 2.0 who wasn't very good

Dimel's is a better blocking FB than Gronk.  I have been impressed with Johnson (minus the false starts), but he is only playing because Stiverson got hurt.

You might be thinking about stud tight end, from Eudora, Nick Warren.

Brian Lojka is the one you are thinking of.

This is a lot of MHSers to be playing at once. Seems like Snyder has had an average of about one a year. I came up with 11 starters, but I bet I missed a couple:

OL: Terrale Johnson
FB: Winston Dimel
WR: Deante Burton
TE: Brian Lojka

DL: Kelly Greene
LB: Matt Wallerstedt
LB: Laird Veatch
LB: Jason Kazar
LB: Matt Butler
CB: Thomas Randolph (All-American)
S: Steve Hanks

Here's a little secret guys. Get in real close! Almost every college in America, recruits within their hometown. It seems to be an advantage for them in that area. Shhhhh.... Don't tell anyone.

That sounds great except for compared to most P5 college towns MHK is relatively small.

How many other P5 college towns have one (1) high school?

IDK! However, most college coaches (Former athletes. Good genes) kids go to those local high school(s). There's gonna be a few guys that end up at that local college every year.

This is patently false. Not only is MHK about average size for P5 college towns, the high school is bigger than most.

Side note: This is the dumbest rough ridin' thread I've seen in the seven years I've been here...and I've started some really crap threads.  :buh-bye:
