Let me say that I completely admit that I was wrong about this team when I was so bold as to predict a 6-6 season with a trip to the Cactus Bowl.
There appears to only be one more sure-win on the schedule, which is KU.
I think Iowa State could be a better win, but at this point they seem to have the edge in coaching. Home game though, so maybe we prevail. I won't get on that.
1 more win, let's enjoy the heck out of that KU game and get ready for another exciting KSU Cats Basketball season!!!!
-
What about Baylor? We are going to 2012 those guys so hard.
-
That KU game scares the hell out of me.
-
this upcoming bye week couldn't have come at a better time for this cat fan.
we need our guys to clean up their play. coach snyder (wildcat) always says that it's the little things that mean a lot. and i couldn't be prouder of our team for exemplifying that motto.
focus on the small things this week and come back next week and prepare for baylor. art briles will have his men ready to fight but so will coach snyder the wildcat.
i predict ksu 38, baylor 24
the cats get back to winning cat football

Are we discounting Seth Russel being sketti necked into our possible upset factor?
Backup QB battle royal.
-
Well, sometimes life presents us with lessons, and I just received one from fellow moderator, pissclams. While we have never met in real life ("IRL" as the younger members of this site say. ha!), I can deduce from pissclams posts over these past years that he knows more than his fair share about Coach Snyder and the 16 goals.
I just received a lesson on perseverance....Goal 10, "Never give up."
I am revising my estimate up, and declaring TWO more wins this year!!! LET'S GO GET THOSE TWO WINS, WILDCATS!!!!
-
System that makes QB's uber successful vs System that forgot to recruit a QB.
-
2 wins could set the stage for next season, a possible b12 champy troph.
-
We have yet to win that game that we shouldnt. Im sticking with 6 wins possibly 7 depending on ttu
-
Which three get us to 6, in your opinion?
-

Their backup QB has 6TDs to no INTs already. If their next two QBs get injured it might affect the spread.
-
we can beat west virginia at home. we can also beat TT on the road. more likely we beat WVU though.
if we don't beat Iowa State i'll eat my shoe.

ku wvu/tech and isu. when was the last time snyder was winless at home in confrence? That question is for people thinking ku is the only game we win
-
vs. ISU - W
@ KU - W
vs. WVU - W
-
I think we can still get to 6 with the above mentioned wins, but I'm not extremely confident of that.
-
guys, seth russell stuck his head too far up art briles ass and is out for the season.
YOU GUYS HAVE A SHOT TO WIN THAT GAME!

No we don't
YES YOU DO. :excited: :ksu: :billdance: :emawkid: :Carl: :bball: :combofan: :lynchmob:

West Virginia, ISU, KU. IN your face, Pete.
-
You know I'm more on the side of disbanding this conference if Baylor and TCU remain the tops for very long. Honestly, what a disgrace.
-
I remember when with Snyder teams no matter what, the offense would score 3 or 4 td's every game and it was the Defense that was the big question mark.
-
All I knew about Baylor's starting QB was that it probably wasn't still RGIII. I'm sure whoever they put out there will be adequate.

No. 2 Dual threat QB out of Texas. No. 27 national ranking.

Yeah, it's gross

Do you think our rookie is better? :surprised:
-
Baylor can run the read option every down and still beat us by 35+. They could run wildcat the whole game in fact, and it honestly wouldn't be a bad idea.
-
Why? The freshman will pick us apart and their offense will not even skip a beat.

I'm going to need to see some more optimism from you guys. Old Balls has to have one wizard game during his potentially last season.
YOUR TEAM NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!
-

Negative. Old Balls will summon up his last bit of wizardry and as soon as you guys win he will evaporate and the legend of Old Balls the Wizard will remain in tact.
-
I like Baylor more than TCU so why don't you just pound sand, new kid?
-
You guys will demolish KU. This KU team is the worst individual team in Big 12 history imo. You guys should be Iowa St. I think WVA is your next best bet. I don't like your chances in Lubbock. I still can't believe Snyder didn't go for it on 4th and 1 against TCU.

the use of the comma here is extraordinary

Considering there should be a comma after TCU, I am amazed there was at least one used correctly.
Just kidding, though, because while I hate incorrect punctuation, I have to remember I am on a message board.

Katdaddy, :D!
-
West Virginia looks very beatable, especially at home.
-
TCU is a good squad though.
-
I'm a homer, obviously, but I could see us beating WVU and Tech, allowing for an 7 win season (8 of we pull off a bowl game upset)

Paul would so proud (and employed another year) if he won in Manhattan.
Don't eff this up, Cats.
-
I'm willing to take this dive to ensure another contract extension for that dork.
-
I'm not. eff losing.

Entertaining the idea of our team losing so as to impact another program is a loser mentality. I want my team to win every time regardless of what that means for other programs.
