First, these are getting old. It is time to get the low balls that never will win out. Trump, Carson, Rubio, Bush, and to liven it up Carly. I say give some hooch beforehand so they won't be inhibited. Jeb may cuss out WUD. I read Bill the Thrill is the most worried about Rubio and his youth making MG come off like a nasty old senile prune lady that carries around a dead cat for the old times.

I hope Rubio wins.

CU Admin shafting students

University of Colorado will get 150 seats.
That's not nearly enough for University of Colorado senior Aaron Estevez-Miller.
University of Colorado senior Aaron Estevez-Miller co-founded a group to push the school to request more tickets — which bumped the university's allotment up from 100 to 150 tickets.
"The undergraduate student body is over 30,000-people strong," said Estevez-Miller, noting that doesn't include faculty, staff or graduate students.
Estevez-Miller co-founded a group to push the school to request more tickets — which bumped the university's allotment up from 100 to 150 tickets. The school has also organized a watch party for students.
"At that point, you know, [the candidates] could be half a mile away at the Coors Center or hundreds of miles away in D.C. and it would make no difference," said Estevez-Miller.
Well, yeah. The debate is being produced for television. This is not an interactive experience.
Freshman Dylan Robinson-Ruet is registered as an independent and eager to vote for the first time in 2016 but said Republican organizers and CNBC are missing out on a chance to connect with students.
"I mean obviously their focus is national, but they're on our campus and I expected it to be more than a facade. Because that's all we're being used as," said Robinson-Ruet.
So while the candidates debate inside, Robinson-Ruet says he plans to be outside protesting the event.
 I could easily and more comfortably watch this debate online or on TV, but instead I'm going to stand outside and protest that I couldn't attend it in person.

why the would they have this thing in an 11k seat arena if their only objective was to produce it for television? have it in a tv studio imo.

Renocat family debate review. Rubio won big. Bush is a whiny loser. Trump an imbecile. Carson a dud. Renoson says Cruz is like a version of a spoil frat boy edition of Mr. Haney from the Green Acres TV show.

Well, I didn't listen to the debate last night (there was a game on), but hopefully I can find a replay on youtube tonight.
Based upon what I'm reading...
1. The moderators were awful, asking too many superficial "gotcha" questions instead of focusing on substance.
2. Ted Cruz got the most "viral" soundbite of the night, and applause, with his superb excoriation of the moderators for their stupidity/bias. http://dailycaller.com/2015/10/28/ted-cruz-smacks-down-biased-moderators-social-media-erupts-video/ (http://dailycaller.com/2015/10/28/ted-cruz-smacks-down-biased-moderators-social-media-erupts-video/)
3. Marco Rubio had the best night overall (no surprise there) and was actually in the top 3 for talking time along with Fiorina and Kasich (weird - but he's the media's preferred GOP candidate).
4. Jeb Bush bombed.
5. Trump and Carson were both pretty "meh."

Rubio:
Last week Hilary Clinton went before a committee,” he said. “She admitted she had sent e-mails to her family saying ‘hey, this attack in Benghazi was caused by al-Qaeda-like elements.’ She spent over a week telling the families of those victims and the American people that it was because of a video. And yet, the mainstream media is going around saying it was the greatest week in Hillary Clinton’s campaign. It was the week she got exposed as a liar ... but she has her super-PAC helping her out — the American mainstream media.
100% true.
-
Also, I think it's time for the RNC to trim down the A-List debate stage to 6 spots. Not sure how the committee's ridiculous rules work, or if they just abdicated that to the media hosting the debates (even worse, and probably what they did) but there are too many Lincoln Chaffees up there wasting airtime with no viable campaign. We're now less than 100 days until Iowa.
Jeb!, Kasich, Paul, and Huckabee need to pack it up, for starters.

It's my understanding this thing was on CNBC. Is that true? How many viewers were there, like 10000? I would only know how to find CNBC because I've had DirectTV for like 15 years.

Everyone who watched it could have fit into the arena with room to spare.
-
If a debate is televised on CNBC, did it really happen???
-
Only if Ted Cruz gotchas some shitty moderators and their prog lib agendas.

I think some of you are confusing CNBC with msnbc
-
I've read a couple of articles about the debate and apparently Jim Cramer and Rick Santelli were among the moderators. It's gotta be worth the time to sift through Youtube clips just for highlights of those two lunatics.

14 million, a record for CNBC.
12.5 million for the game.
