Snyder's headset quit working. He had to have a youngster turn it on for him. Damn cordless newfangled devices.

It was fine.  Either Dimel switched OBz off and out of the mix, or as was astutely pointed out to me on twitter, Dimel couldn't think of a play.

He doesn't need malfunctioning headphones for that to happen.

Would you consider the conditions in today's game "monsoon-like?"

I tend to say no, because "monsoon-like" would be, well, an actual monsoon, and there probably wouldn't have even been a game, not to mention everything else that would go into keeping the area's inhabitants safe.  But I'm not a weather expert.

Although I have never had a personal experience with a monsoon, I would not consider today's conditions "monsoon-like". It rained the entire game but it never felt like a monsoon. Also, don't those only happen in third world countries?

Quote from: D. Scott Fritchen in his blog article "Game Rewind: Washed Away"
Playing in monsoon-like conditions, Kansas State junior running back Charles Jones gained half of his team's total yards and recorded his first-career 100-yard rushing performance in a 23-9 loss to Texas on Saturday at Texas Memorial Stadium.
