Title: Kansas State Football
Post by: The Big Train on October 17, 2015, 10:36:42 PM
I hardly ever get into deep football discussions on here, for a number of reasons.  It is really hard to keep up because they go so quickly and a single comment can get nitpicked and an entire point can get lost.  I however need to get my venting out.

I will preface this with a few things.  I am a third generation KSU alumni, my parents met at K-State, and both are graduates.  I, like many here have bled purple for pretty much my whole life, even when I didn't live here.  I always wanted to go to KSU and there is not much above my love for the Cats.  Today however was a day of firsts for me, and it's time for a change.

During the DOD I didn't live in KS and had to watch the cats on TV, and whenever I got a chance went to home and away games.  I sat through the Prince years as a student and was thoroughly disgusted with where our program got, granted the last few years after our Big 12 championship were not good.  I never left games early and I never was actually angry enough to leave a game early if it was a blow out.  I have lived through some terrible time and some very very good times.  Today I left the game about midway through the second quarter.

The loyalty Bill has for his players and coaches has been known for a long time, and he has had great success with his guys.  There have to be some major rough ridin' changes, or he needs to be gone.  I love Bill, and I love what he has done for our program.  Manhattan wouldn't be the town it is, with its new campus buildings and NBAF and everything it has without Bill, but today was 100 rough ridin' percent unacceptable.  The season hasn't gone good and since we have lost some big time talent it has been kind of iffy.  Today was the dagger that major changes need to be made.

Our coordinators are rough ridin' garbage, Bill has been rough ridin' garbage, and this program is in a tailspin.  It hasn't and won't crash for a few years, but if he doesn't change something and quit being so rough ridin' loyal to this garbage coaching staff, he needs to retire.  There is absolutely no rough ridin' reason he should keep giving excuses for what they 'should have done'.  This even goes back to the whole Sams/Waters situation, which I won't get into in detail, but his 'we should have played him' crap then doing the same rough ridin' thing over and over, and giving the same lame ass excuse has run its course.

This program has come too far to be run in the ground by stupid rough ridin' loyalties.  Most of which are long over due to have ended seasons ago.  Sure, coaches kids who are good can play for the Cats, but players dads who are rough ridin' terrible at their jobs should not be employed because they have 'good morals, and are good people'.  This is a rough ridin' business and I am so sick and tired of Bill letting emotion get in the way of performance.

Today was a first for me leaving a game because of absolute disgust.  I felt nauseous leaving the stadium and major changes, and some coaches, should be searching for jobs soon or this program is gonna be in a tailspin the likes of which we haven't seen since Prince was here.

I stayed to the end, and was glad I did.  I was sick too.  I was in the north end zone, and their were a couple of kids cheering and hollering and dancing to the band.  It helped me to remember the joy of big time college ball, and why I really like it better than pro.  OK has big fast athletes and lots of them.  I miss jake.   After the game the El Chapo of Reno County started acting up.  Momma Reno gave me the look and I had to behave for the kiddos.

I mean, we at least scored in the game, but we also got stomped at home in 2011 when Klein was at QB.

A coaching change is probably in order, but I'm not sure we need to be such drama queens about it.

The reason he didn't understand it is because your sentence construction was terrible. Here's what you wrote:

Quote
I mean, we at least scored in the game, but we also got stomped at home in 2011 when Klein was at QB.

Here's how you should have written it so people could understand wtf you were trying to say:
I mean, in 2011 when Klein was our quarterback, we also got stomped at home. Granted, we at least scored some points in that game, but we still got stomped.

Here's the other thing you wrote:
Quote
A coaching change is probably in order, but I'm not sure we need to be such drama queens about it.

And this is how you should have written it:
I am catastrophe, and I am a confirmed dumbass

If you want people to understand your posts, work a little harder to make them halfway readable.
