Title: Oklahoma Game Streams
Post by: jmarks on October 17, 2015, 11:52:51 AM
Here's what I have right now. Not positive about the VLC+Weblinks for the game, but we'll see. Better than 50/50, I think.

2:30PM CT
Oklahoma at Kansas State | ABC | ESPN3 (http://"http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/source/espn3/")* & CinderBlock ST 600k (http://"st://A0ICgpwEdToDOgWCoAHIgBbJnPIjYPu2yTJc3H4Jgj4SihcLQ2luZGVyQmxvY2uKQQdkZWZhdWx0iqIGU3BvcnRz==") & ZXTV 53 (http://zunox.hk/zxtv53.html) & castalba 20 (http://"http://castalba.tv/channel/27620")

The following software will be needed to view streams:
StreamTorrent (ST)
StreamTorrent Software (http://"http://www.streamhub.hk/forum/showthread.php?18-Solution-to-StreamTorrent-Has-Expired") Follow all directions, install the "Smite the Red x"  patch. WIN OS only.

Get the most recent Flash update (http://"http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/").

UPDATE!: VLC Links

Please use MPC-HC (Media Player Classic) as an alternative for the Copy to VLC links. There seems to be some issues recently. THANKS!

Download MPC-HC here (https://mpc-hc.org/downloads/)

VideoLan has upgraded VLC to Version 2.2.1. Previous versions should still work, but it's usually good to upgrade this app.
*NOTE: When installing, select > delete preferences and cache.

You will need VLC media player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/#download) to view the streams on PC/MAC/other OS. Click Here (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html) for windows x64bit systems. Previous versions (https://web.archive.org/web/20140831011409/http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc).

You will also need to make an adjustment to VLC. ------ VERY IMPORTANT!!
1st, Open VLC > Go to Tools > Preferences
Select the radio button "Show Settings" -- "All" (near the bottom)
Select input/codecs.
Scroll down to advanced, and change the value for Network Caching to 5000 (ms).
This helps to prevent dropped frames and provides a more stable stream.

NOTE: It is much better to view streams through the VLC stand alone program, than to view it through a browser/VLC association.
The best way is to.... copy the .m3u8 file given... > open VLC... > click in middle of screen.... > press (keyboard) ctrl+v (to paste link) into VLC... > press play.

The Higher Bandwidth links may work with i Phone/i Pad/Android/KindleFire tablets.
The Lower Bandwidth links should work with all devices.
(Android devices may use MX player (http://handheld.softpedia.com/progDownload/MX-Video-Player-Download-122231.html) to view streams. KindleFire may be able to use Vplayer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.abitno.vplayer.t&hl=en), if vlc or MX Player doesn't work)
