i know that but why can't the defense push you backwards as well? if a lineman can come push you from the 5 yard line and push u to the end zone, why can't the d push you back from the 1 to the 5?

well, bob davis was pretty pissed when a hawks receiver got called for holding away from the action and nullified a long bomb by willis. had a pretty great "we gotta change that rule so garbage like that doesn't happen anymore" momentwell, Bob Davis is special.
