It's been a number of years since I've been there.
-All the buildings with the exception of just a couple look new or nearly new. While not a fan of their choice of red brick as the prevalent material it does have a certain pleasing uniformity and clearly weathers better than limestone (come on Schulz get out the acid washers and pressure washers bro)
-It looks like they've done their own version of Jardine Redevelopment on a larger scale. While certainly nicer than traditional dorms (IMO) it lacks a central rallying point ala Jardine Redevelopment Tower (whatever they call it)
-Boone Pickens stadium is certainly much more aesthetically pleasing and larger since the last time I was there and the BPS/GIA combo is a fairly impressive set up
-Their new indoor practice facility and neighboring football practice fields. Wow, now that's impressive. Their remaining facilities with the exception of their Tennis facility were pretty dull and not that impressive
-Campus landscape seemed rather plain albeit pleasant. The campus set up was concise and you have to appreciate the ease at which numerous living groups could access their major sports facilities
I only took a brief drive around the bar area next to campus and while I know everyone talks about EJ's, the area was still relatively unimpressive and didn't appear to be as good as Aggieville. That said you had to appreciate how close they were to the stadium(s)
At some point I'll be checking out our friends at the University of Oklahoma (Norman)

Did you make it out before sundown or was that not an issue for you?

you know what I've always appreciated at osu? Their massive outdoor on campus swimming pool.
