A new jersey congressman is calling for a hearing to discuss ending this practice. Good, but not a smart move. It is gambling.

Iirc, in ks, it's illegal to win money by winning your league. I think that was brought up last season locally.

Well they started changing poker runs (where you just draw cards and get a hand due to chance) to make it so that you had to throw darts at the cards, so it was based on skill. FF takes at least that much skill, right?

Poker Runs are known drunk driving fests. I think you are underestimating how hard it is to throw darts when completely trashed after riding a bike for like 40 miles.

I once had to watch my friend take a field sobriety test in the middle of a poker run. He passed, but probably because he flirted with the female officer.

One of my old employees was big into the LARP'ing world that is being a biker. He said that they would put sober decoys at the back of runs to act drunk, get pulled over, and pass sobriety tests, all while the others who had been drinking kept on moving.
