He's pretty good
-
I don't think his coverage is all that good, but he makes up for it with awesome hits. It's like, he makes it so the receivers don't even want to catch the ball.
-
He RT'ed a bunch of my tweets last yr where I made mention of him trying to murder ppl. So, I think that's what he is going for, and I am fully behind him, btw.

He'll make a pretty good Safety/Nickle Corner in the NFL

Noticed this as well. Snyder must be getting more lenient with that rule.

Can he get a medical?

Can he get a medical?
Only if he played 3 or less games before hand got hurt. Also, Dr.has to verify that he's not healthy enough to play.

K-State sports shows he played 4. So that's it for him.

Hearing about this makes me sad, especially with the lack-luster year it's been for him.

(Edit: this may be incorrect after all. We forgot that McDaniel didn't play against South Dakota, meaning he only played in three games this season and his injury occurred in the first half of the year. He MAY be eligible for a medical redshirt, although it seems unlikely.)

This is what I am thinking as well. Just not sure why everyone is writing him off so quickly, and LHCBS doesn't seem to be thinking medical waiver for McDaniel out loud, as he is a redshirt for Barnett.
Maybe his reasons for missing the South Dakota game was enough for the program to decide not to put in the effort for a medical waiver.

This is a joke, right? Let me borrow your GPC log-in.

Getting Danzel and Barnett back next year would be amazing. I also thing it is a strong possibility, both of this guy's could be potential NFL caliber athletes if given a. Healthy final year.
-
That correction from BOTC is wrong, he played in 4 games - UTSA, La Tech, OSU, and TCU. Unless I'm missing something he's done.
-
He didn't play vs TCU I don't think.

Shelly started in place of Burns, who was hurt at the end of the OSU game. McDaniel started against TCU, got beat by Doctson for a contested ball in the endzone (second drive I think); on this play, I believe, he injured himself, as he was limping coming back from the extra point. He actually tried to come in later in the TCU game, but couldn't really go. I'm guessing it is the same type of injury as Delton.

Danzel played against TCU in the first half, at least. He missed the USD game but he was suspended for that one. His career as a purple cat is over, I'm afraid
