Hi Cats!
Have some great streams for today.

Kansas State at UTSA | FS1 / FS Go | ZXTV 99 (http://zunox.hk/zxtv99.html) & streamking (http://www.streamking.info/) &

>links removed for security<

VideoLan has upgraded VLC to Version 2.1.5. Previous versions should still work, but it's usually good to upgrade this app.
*NOTE: When installing, select > delete preferences and cache.

You will need VLC media player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/#download) to view the streams on PC/MAC/other OS. Click Here (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html) for windows x64bit systems. Previous versions (https://web.archive.org/web/20140831011409/http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc).

You will also need to make an adjustment to VLC. ------ VERY IMPORTANT!!
1st, Open VLC > Go to Tools > Preferences
Select the radio button "Show Settings" -- "All" (near the bottom)
Select input/codecs.
Scroll down to advanced, and change the value for Network Caching to 5000 (ms).
This helps to prevent dropped frames and provides a more stable stream.

NOTE: It is much better to view streams through the VLC stand alone program, than to view it through a browser/VLC association.
The best way is to.... copy the .m3u8 file given... > open VLC... > click in middle of screen.... > press (keyboard) ctrl+v (to paste link) into VLC... > press play.

The Higher Bandwidth links may work with i Phone/i Pad/Android/KindleFire tablets.
The Lower Bandwidth links should work with all devices.
(Android devices may use MX player (http://handheld.softpedia.com/progDownload/MX-Video-Player-Download-122231.html) to view streams. KindleFire may be able to use Vplayer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.abitno.vplayer.t&hl=en), if vlc or MX Player doesn't work)

There needs to be an over/under for number of games played until Hubener gets concussed. I'll say 7.

5 games would be optimal.  Delton can then maybe make it the last 4 or 5 games and have the off season to recover.

The WR drops are the biggest disappointment. I didn't think we were terrible outside of that. I mean, it's early season K-State football on the road with a young offense, I'm not sure what people expect here.

Yeah. Hubener would have some big play ability if his receivers were even average.

This I agree with about the WR.  The other thing I'm digesting is the game plan.  Seems rough.

It's a typical Snyder game plan on the road with a young QB. He's trusting his defense while letting Hubener make a few checks in a conservative offense. Don't turn the ball over and make a big mistake. I like that he's at least letting Hubener use his arm a bit and test man coverage. After 20 plus years of Snyder this is pretty much exactly what I expected today.

He would help his receivers out if he'd get more accurate on the throws to the flat. I think he'll get a lot better the next game and we'll start scoring some points.

Who's the really old guy next to Dana? He doesn't look like he should coach for much longer.

Del Miller  :cyclist:

Thought so. He looks like he has severe hypertension.  :ohno:

What a beautiful half from Dana and Del.

#NeverForget that first half was an unmigated disaster when it comes to play calling

The play calling where we finally scored on sneak ( after burning a to) was frustrating.

But overall I think our play calling was impaired by crappy field position.

Silmon has to be the guy. The loyalty to the experienced guy can be over now.

I'd still like to see what Warmack can do though.
There's a reason why he didn't transfer/see the field.

Hmmmmmm

No. We didn't use the running backs effectively at all, we got unnecessarily cute inside the red zone, and that pass inside of the 10 yard line with 40 seconds left and no UTSA timeout left was the dumbest thing I have seen in a while (minus the Jackson State kneeling at the end of regulation and the Jackson State taking a 20 yard sack in overtime).

The field position, caused by 3 special teams penalties by the way, was why we were conservative, it wasn't the reason the play calling was amateur hour.

Good game today. Closer than it should have been imho. A win's a win so Go Cats!
See ya next week.

Is the oline still that specialized for pass protection? Don't defuse the bombs, but it seems like this team is suited for 3.333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333334 YPP.
