Welcome again to everyone's favorite annual thread and winner of several Cassy awards. Let's skip all the pageantry and get right down to the rules. That's right, this thread has some predicdos and some predicdon'ts.
Predicdos: List every team's record. But that's not enough. We need to know who beats who. Who loses to who. Scores are unnecessary, but hey, if you want to put scores in, that's up to you, pal. Feel free to add commentary to your post. Also feel free to comment on others' predicdos. But be forewarned, if you criticize others' predicdos without posting your own, it's possible you'll be criticized.
Predicdon'ts: Do NOT just list what you think the final standings are going to be. Don't just list teams' records. That is weak garbage and it won't be allowed here. This brings me no great pleasure, but if you ruin this thread with that nonsense, i'll be forced to PM a mod and have you sanctioned or censured.

Notes:
- D'oh! TCU blew it again! This time they blew it in Norman. Oh well. They might still get in the playoff, as they had a great season.
- OU goes undefeated into Waco. College gameday is on the Brazos for a showdown between unbeatens. Baylor doesn't really have much of a problem with the Sooners though.
- Speaking of Baylor, the Bears, still high on their win against OU, blow the game of their season the following week in Stillwater. By the time they play TCU in what was thought to be the Big 12's game of the season, the Bears are reeling. It's a squash match in Ft. Worth, with the Frogs just murdering the Bears.
- Solid season for the Pokes. After starting conference play a little shaky, Gundy's boys get on a roll late in the season.
- KU plays ISU in Ames close for three quarters. But ISU pulls away comfortably in the 4th. It is the only game in which the Squawks are within 7 points in the second half.

Notes: TCU goes undefeated and beats GA Tech in the semifinal, then loses to tOSU in the Championship. Baylor goes to the Sugar and chokes for the third straight year (stories flying around that Art can't win the "big one"). Oklahoma plays USC in the Alamo and wins. K-State goes to the Russell Athletic Bowl Game and plays.....FSU!! The 'Cats win in a game similar to the BWW Bowl and we all party through the New Year!

Some notes on mine:
I think Baylor is the best team in the Big 12 this season but I think since the Bears have to go to Ft. Worth that swings that game the Frogs way and gets the Frogs to an undefeated season.
Rhodes gets the axe.
If my predictos hold true, Gundy will not be at Ok St. next season.
Bob Stoops does JUST enough to coach another season at OU.
Kliff should get the door, but won't.
KU fields the worst team in Big 12 Conference history.
My hot take: I think Baylor and Michigan State will be two teams to keep an eye on in the polls all season. I think that both of those teams will lose to their conference favorite (tOSU and TCU) and win the rest of their games.
The key is if MSU beats Oregon in week 2. If they do, they can still get to the playoff with 1 loss. If not, Baylor SHOULD be the top 1-loss team.
I would say there is about a ~35% chance that the Big 12 gets two (2) teams into the CFP. If their showdown at the end of November is a good, well-played game there could be enough momentum to keep the Baylor/TCU loser close to the top of the polls.
I'm going to predict that BOTH TCU and Baylor get to the CFP. 1. tOSU 2. TCU 3. Baylor 4. SEC (2 loss champ)

That's not Baylor’s last game

1) OSU is going to suck.
1b) They get us after a bye, after playing Texas (Physical, beat people up). Oh and we will showcase jack krap until that game.
2) OU schedule is a wet dream. Their schedule is awesome enough to over come shaky QB play.
2b) We get them at home :cheers:, after playing at home :cheers:. They come off huge rival game that involves travel. :cheers: They QB is non mobile :cheers:. They are going to air raid, away from their badass running backs. Seriously they might have the best RBs in the country. Darn fools. I don't think they QB situation is great, it think is similar to ours.
3) TCU schedule is really really hard, they also sucked on the road last year. I think their offense travels like crap. They also rebuilt their defense.
3b) Boykin only had 5 passing TDs and 3 Int on the road last year in big 12 play (That includes squawk U). Last year I think he was a product of a favorable schedule and luck. I don't think he is bad, but not a world beater. What happens when he comes to MHK against one of the most experienced secondaries in the Big 12.
4) UT schedule is also dog crap, UT offense has be expressed to me as dog crap. An embarrassment of completive athletics.
4b) The best thing they have going for them is US at home after a bye (That really sucks for us.) IF UT offense isn't as bad as my sources has informed me it will be. It would be by far our hardest game.
5) ISU Is in a postion to show steady improvement they have some games at home they can jump and grab. They get KU at home early. Beating UT or OSU at home would make their shirt tucks, SO PROUD.
5b) We will win a ugly one.
6) Texas Tech, Their program is a mess. I don't see them stoping the slide.
6b) We really have their number.
7) WVU, their schedule blows. They might have the four hardest teams on the road. Seriously that sucks.
7a) Bill has just embarrassed their program on the regular. On senior night I wouldn't expect anything different.
8) KU, well they might be the worst team ever, heard they think an uptempo offense is really going to help them this year.
8a) That is a joke, why would they want their defense on the field for more time. Really the program really has problems, really deep problems.
9) I like our schedule all of our hard games are early before we are really beat up, not exposing our depth issues.

Oh Baylors schedule is awesome. But efff them they are the worst. They probably win the conference. I think they only way we beat them is grind it out. But maybe they can't keep their crap together. Maybe not handling a rape case as professional destroyes them. Maybe their new QB is an interception machine. Maybe we figure them out. Man, I hate their guts and moral standings.
