Since they don't have to live under any regulatory standards I am suprised more accidents don't happen . Send them Obama as communist regulator in chief. I imagine Chinese officials vies this as population control and urban renewal.

How do they still not know what happened? I mean how many chemicals/fireworks/etc. can make an explosion that big and cover that big of a radius?

Not that it's a contest, but I wonder how that explosion compared to this one that happened at a rocket fuel plant in Nevada back in the 80's.
Can't help but think a little bit about espionage operations when I see stuff like this happen at places with significant military and economic applications, and yes I know accidents happen due to bad luck or negligence, but "accidents" happen as well.
